Fires in the Forest | by Marina Oliver Feb. 06, 2012 | $3.99 | 48907 words | Sample 5% |
| Author bio: Most writers can't help themselves! It's a compulsion. Getting published, though, is something really special, and having been so fortunate myself I now try to help aspiring writers by handing on tips it took me years to work out. I've published over 60 titles, including four in the How To Books' Successful Writing Series, and Writing Historical Fiction for Studymates. I have judged short story competitions, been a final judge for the Harry Bowling Prize and was an adviser to the 3rd edition of Twentieth Century Romance and Historical Writers 1994. If you want to find out more about your favourite authors, consult this book. I once wrote an article on writing romantic fiction for the BBC's web page, for Valentine's day. I have given talks and workshops for the Arts Council and at most of the major Writing Conferences, and helped establish the Romantic Novelists' Association's annual conference. I was Chairman of the RNA 1991-3, ran their New Writers' Scheme and edited their newsletter. I am now a Vice-President. As well as writing I have edited books for Transita, featuring women 'of a certain age', and for Choc Lit where gorgeous heros are the norm. I was asked to write A Century of Achievement, a 290 page history of my old school, Queen Mary's High School, Walsall, and commissioned to write a book on Castles and Corvedale to accompany a new circular walk in the area. Most of my Regencies written under the pseudonym Sally James are now published in ebook format as well as many others of my out of print novels which my husband is putting into ebook format. Our daughter Debbie is helping with designing the covers. For details of all my books and my many pseudonyms see my website. |

Recently, the learning and reading (and reading and learning) has started to pay off. With several short stories, poems appearing in Liberated Muse Volume 1: How I Freed My Soul, Liberated Muse Volume 2: Betrayal Wears a Pretty Face, the upcoming Dear Sister Anthology, 2 self-published zines, and a soon-to-be published novel under her belt, Sumayyah Talibah is finally making strides toward world domination. She currently lives in Michigan with her husband, the hip hop artist, producer, and renaissance man, Tasherre Risay, their children, a cat, a well-used library card and overflowing bookshelves. |

Who is Celinda Grey? | by Aswad * Feb. 06, 2012 | $2.99 | 67503 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: I've seen a lot. How we treat each other as human beings seems to have fallen by the wayside as we gaze into our individual screens as we walk down the street. It seems more important to film somebody bleeding, than to help somebody bleeding. We are a society that puts locks on trash cans filled with food, and fines the unemployed and homeless for being unemployed and homeless. We attack and legislate against people who don't love, eat, dress or even sleep the same as we do. These are the types of stories I like to tell. These are the stories I think need to be told. Because I have been all these people. I can be reached at MrAswad5@Gmail.com |

The Foursome: The Set-up | by Nan Allen Feb. 06, 2012 | $0.99 | 4052 words | Sample 10% |
| Author bio: My name is Nan Allen. I've been writing erotic stories since I was a teenager, though back in those days it was based on what I'd read rather than experience. I knew then that sex and erotic writing were going to be important parts of my life. Erotic writing just ... well, it turns me on. It doesn't matter for whom or what I'm writing. If it is about someone getting it on then I'm interested. People say they enjoy the erotic stories I write because they're so realistic. I contribute this to most of my stories being based off things I've actually done or my real fantasies. |

Therapy [Howards' Story] Book III | by ALLISON HEATHER Feb. 06, 2012 | $3.90 | 11783 words | Sample 10% |
| Author bio: I have been writing non-fiction and fiction in English and French. My style is influenced by the diverse countries I was educated in while growing up.Various cultures have influenced my content and style. I make no secret of my feminine point of view in my stories. I believe war of sexes is futile politics. Individuals modify their trues self to cater to a transient polemic. Self esteem is the key and epicentre of human dignity. I have been successfully publishing erotic writings for five years. I started writing naughty stories secretly when young. I try to describe my characters in detail to stimulate visual images in my readers. I have, however, after many nudges started to add what I believe are suggestive images to describe some of the characters. Readers can work out easily the protagonists being depicted.I have to thank some of my friends who surf the net for hours to pick out the pictures for me - thanks guys. However, this is hard and sometime I agonise over pictorial depiction too much. As I said earlier, words are the strongest stimulus to our unrestricted imagination. Best Wishes to all. A H. Please use my email link stories to give me feedback and suggestions. Stories also available at : Amazon [Kindle Publication]. |

Demons at Deadnight | by A&E Kirk Feb. 06, 2012 | $2.99 | 92967 words | Sample 10% |
| Author bio: Anyone who says this mother-daughter team doesn’t mesh has only seen them trying to put out the fire from the stupid wires behind the television that should’ve been more clearly labeled in the first place. Alyssa, the A in A&E, has gone from mucking out horse stalls and taping her eyes open during college lectures, to writing novels. When she’s not writing, reading, or running down the halls flapping her coat while singing the Batman theme song, she’s either dancing or immersed in anime. Eileen has much more class. Even a degree. Fancy. Mother of three lovably peculiar children—all of which like to point out how short she is. But really, she isn’t. They’re just freaking giants. Happily married, she enjoys escaping like a bat out of hell—uh, *cough, cough* we meant she enjoys horseback riding at a leisurely speed around the mountains surrounding their California home. Demons at Deadnight is their debut novel, and currently they’re eating bon-bons and watching TV—oh, scratch that—they’re currently diligently at work on the next epic Divinicus Nex adventure. (Come on! Who’s supposed to proofread this stuff? Heads are gonna roll, people. Seriously. Heads are gonna roll!) |
