I am an agricultural economist and a linguist by education, and a management consultant by trade. However, my passion for writing and literature led me to more creative endeavours... I started by writing short plays. Having studied acting in Sydney and in Paris, it just seemed a natural extension of performing on stage. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to continue. The rest is history, as we say... I write in both English and French. One of my plays, My Sister's Choice, also makes extensive use of sign language. I have published one novel, The Wings of Leo Spencer, and two plays, The Birthday Knife and Guys, Only Guys! I have written two full-length plays and a large number of short plays, which have been produced in America, Australia, the UK, Singapore and Malaysia. Some of them have won prizes. I have also written and published (mostly online) a large number of articles related to the issue of rare diseases, research and patients, translated in many languages throughout Europe. My writing credits also include an award-winning short story and a radio play. I’m currently working on a full-length play involving spoken English and sign language, and shorter plays. After writing a poetry collection and seeing them accepted in several anthologies in the U.S. and abroad, I continued writing a compilation for my own publishable work. Seven months later in 2002, I’d written a collection of 70 poems. I write prolifically, my first love was poetry that I started writing in 2001. It is about the trials of a flock of geese, it is general literary fiction for all ages. It was published recently, in July 2010, is still active at major on-line bookstores, and is shelved where I’ve had book signings. My most current work is the story titled, “Beneath the Cherry Blossoms”. This is my second novella and although it is a work of fiction it is based on a true story. The loss of every loved one is unspeakably hard. The story occupied my mind for over one and a half years until I finally gave in to those compelling thoughts that would come and go, but never leave for too long, and wrote the story.
