Aspire to Inspire

Close your mouth and with your heart sing,

Light and love joy will bring.

Draw back your tear make it rain in the sky

And give hope to those who cannot fly.

Forget the sorrow of the past and live for today,

Foundation lay for tomorrow wipe every tear away.

With a brush of love paint the sky

And give wings to those who wish to fly.

A house of feeling

Your heart is a house,

When its empty it is cold

But when it has inhabitants it

Is warm an full of life.

Your house is not a house though,

It is a home.

Home to feelings of humanity;

Care, concern, compassion.

My heart has been home to

Heartbreak an no visiting feelings

Dare knock on my door.

My home is a house because it is empty.

Love grew tired of waiting

Sitting at home alone.

When I peer into your deep mesmerizing eyes

I see your house-a house of feeling

Like a heavy chest full of treasures,

Full to the brim.

When I lay my fixity on you

I can only stop an admire,

For you possess a house of feeling,

An the fire place in that house

Breaths the warmth of life

Into every room.

I smile at you an envy

From a distance because you

Have a house of feeling,

A currency stronger than gold,

Your smile will never falter.

I need your warmth,

Like two hands clasped in prayer,

Giving yet taking.

I wait outside hoping you’ll

Let me in for winter is fast approaching.

You have a glow only the

Sun could look at an be jealous of,

I look into your beautiful eyes and

Through those windows I watch

The fire place, trying to imagine

What it would feel like

To feel those flames breath on me

Warm me, and make me intoxicated.

I am nothing but a bold neighbour,

Coming from my house to yours

To ask you for a bit of log

From your fire place for my flames

Have been long extinguished.

As I look at you, I sit in awe

An am somehow inspired,

An as our eyes meet for a fraction

Of a moment in time continuous,

I see beyond the beautiful barrier

Called your eyes, a house of feeling

A home of inhabitants,

A nest full of warmth,

An unquenchable fire.

I look through your window

An sigh, all your feelings are

Warming by the fire.

And as I boldly knock,

I wonder whether you would

Allow space for one more feeling,

Knocking an waiting outside your

Blessed fortress-love.

The phoenix, the rose

Like a phoenix

You rise from the ashes,

As you work in harmony

With the forces of light.

Young green one,

You grow an blossom,

An as you blossom you bless

The very existence around you.

Like a phoenix,

You rise from the ashes

Rejuvenated an replenished,

Reborn in radiance so that

The word beauty becomes an understatement.

Like a phoenix,

You rise from the ashes

Spreading your wings at full length,

Your red petals to their limits,

Your flames of warmth killing the bitter winter,

Your fragrance heralding spring.

Like a phoenix,

Like a rose,

Your beauty does show.

A star you are, you shine on us below,

And we marvel forever in your burning warm glow.

I mark this sunrise for you

As the light eats at the darkness that ruled all night

The shadows and monsters flee and I am saved by

Your presence.

The hills sing as your light bless their faces

The trees are resurrected as you herald spring

The earth underneath me breaths again

Winter war is forgotten an morning chorus I hear once more

I see you but do not comprehend, a mirage you are, a ghost.

I mark this sunrise for you

Because I am blessed to see one more

To see you in all your splendour and beauty

Even if I only but dream

I missed you and I miss you

Because your face is more rare than an eclipse

I loved an I love you

But like a star far away I can not grasp

I may not have thee, like unattainable perfection

You have me in your embrace of pure love

And I am intoxicated

I do not let go of you but I am peeled away from

Fantasy and I am back to reality.

I open my eyes and sunlight pours in through

My window like elegant water, glistening like honey

You are not by my side but in my heart and I am not so

Lonely as I thought I was

I mark this sunrise for you

The first thing I thought of at my waking moment

Water under this bridge

The perfect night has gained a flaw

You are not by my side, the prettiest thing my eyes saw.

You had me, my heart and I,

Your absence crushes me, I feel to cry.

I would move mountains for you, give diamonds and rings

If only you could come to me on angels wings.

This couple I see is as warm as can be

They remind me of times we spent together; just you and me.

These waters are my memories both murky and clear

And if I listen close enough your voice in them I hear.

I’m not asking for a miracle, or for some sign to appear,

I just long for you that’s all and tonight I wish you were here.

This water passes under London Bridge like my memories of past before

But memories, our memories will be forever, in my mind to store.

The city lights reflect on the water, I smile at some memories it highlights and I see,

Lovely memories of when we were together, happy and free.

The cold winds of time blow against me and tell me I must move on,

Across the water you are somewhere and to you my love still will belong.

However, I am no time traveller; I cannot return to the past

The suicide of leaping from this bridge will not make the memories of love last.

Somewhere you are singing sweet melody, making ripples upon the water for me to hear,

And I recite this poem for you, for the wind to deliver to your ear.

Powers of Time

I wish I had powers,

Powers to pull back time

To stop every clock from ticking so fast,

For every pendulum not to swing so swiftly

And maybe I would be given a moment extra to adore thee.

I wish I had powers,

Powers to stop the sun on its

Everlasting course of revolution and circumference,

To be able to stop it dead-still at a single point in time

And maybe, just maybe, I might be given a second more to hold thy hand.

I wish I had powers,

Powers to Jump back in the sands of the past to

Select a single moment with thee and reminiscence would

Be vivid and your smile last a moment longer.

I wish I had powers,

Powers to push time forward

All so that I could see thy face that little bit sooner,

Your smile like glorious sunrise after a reign of darkness.

However there is no time like present,

It is called present for it is a gift

And I am grateful to be in it with you

Celebrating another cycle, a sunset and a sunrise.

I wish I had powers,

But I don’t need any

For when I am with thee, I can foresee the future

And it is most certainly bright and colourful

Like the sun bursting through a rainbow.

If I could live forever

If I had eternity to my name I would share it with you,

For I could not go a day, let alone an age without you.

I could be made a king, a ruler or more,

But without you it would count for nothing and that is a flaw.

I rather live short and happy with you always by my side,

Climb all mountains there is and with you on every cloud ride.

Without you a day is like perpetual forever,

Save me from that hostile darkness, let us be together.

I will give up my immortal status, deny my right,

All so I can have you in my sight.

These petty days we have are short and are growing few

Therefore each day I have I will spend loving you.

And when I pass I will pass holding your hand

Recounting the days that lasted forever, numerous as sand.

On the ink of inspiration

Without you I cannot be who I desire to be

I can be many things but not who I want to be.

If you are not sitting by me there is no warmth even in the scorching summer sun

And my heart brings winter closer though from it I run.

A man’s desires gold, power, respect, and enemies few

It may sound foolish but all I desire is you.

There is no ink left in this pen with which I write

But knowing you are there will project me to a new height.

I would face Herculean trials, difficult and long

If I knew to me your affections would belong.

I would slay all invincible fiends fight them to an accord

If I knew your love I could in my heart hoard.

When I am with you everything seems so very crystal clear

Like looking into the distance and seeing no fear.

The colour you

My life, a prison of black, white and grey

Inarticulate, my expressions are limited, nothing I say.

I live in shadows of shades and hues of black and white

There is no horizon, nothing to keep me thinking all will be right.

There is a sound I have become familiar with, its names is silence

And though I try hard to break it useless is my defiance.

I have become used to this sound that deafens each ear

It is omnipresent because you are not here.

I have faith, I wait in hope, and I most certainly do love,

I wait in hope for a gift to come to me from above.

Once you arrive I fret no more

Somehow I knew it was you I was searching for.

Then a miracle happened, you shattered the silence which held my ears bound

And by you I am saved from a horrible sound.

Now the hues and shades blur away

In my life colour you manifest this day.

Purple, red, yellow, orange and blue

My world is splashed with colour when I am with you.

Pink, green an gold, turquoise an more,

The more I look around the more of you I’m sure.

You are the colour amazing

In every flick of the artist’s brush

The finished work of excellence, full of love like a red blush.

You are the colour great of the mighty sea blue,

Most deep and full of things splendid and true.

You are the colours majestic brown, burgundy and gold

In the crispy fallen leaves in windy autumn cold.

You are the colour prosperity green and rich as spring

And news of your evergreen love do you always bring.

You are the colour wonderful

A rainbow bursting forth in the sky

Hand in hand we reach amazing heights, ever so high.

You are the colour beauty

With you I am happy to be,

Let not go of my hand, or I will forever remain unhappy.

You could be any colour

Green, grey, purple or blue

But I will always, always love you.

It does not matter where, how, or what through,

All you need to know is that I will be there with you.

Come what may seasons and all,

Holding each other we will not fall.

We’ll stride ahead into the melting sunset and prolong the day

Admiring the colours of our very hearts display.

I am a lucky artist, your colour is rare to posses

With my brush your colour I will caress.

If I were an artist an you another

We would most certainly paint each other.

There are many colours on this pallet that I use of all shades and hue

But there is no colour truly as beautiful as you.

Bless me

Dear God, bless my hands so that I can treasure her heart,

That we may manifest our love and never part

Bless my eyes with which I see

Because only she is the one for me

Bless my mouth and fill it with praise

Let me thank you for her, Your name I will raise.

Bless the time I have with her and make it last,

Please don’t let it fly by so fast.

I love her with a passion; I pray she’s my soul mate and more,

Please let her be the missing rib I’ve been searching for.

I know God, I have issues, I’m way ahead of my time,

It was curiosity that led Eve to commit that crime

So I pray You help me to my destination,

So that all that I do now won’t be wasted preparation.

I know I ask for a lot and I blatantly get too much

But dear Jehovah I’m in love; a fellow human heart I wish to touch

Bless and sharpen my mind so that I may find the right words to say

How much I want and need her in every possible way

Rescue me from myself because I crave her like a drug

Please don’t let this end sadly and crush me like a bug.

Last but not least bless the heart in my chest that she makes so easily shift

For its all I have to give to her as a priceless gift.

Someone to love

With a quill and a blank page, I might yet shape the desire of mine own heart into greater focus,

Miracles, deeds, strength, courage and love happen upon this locus.

In search for a damsel, lady and all but each time at this highest post I doth fall.

My heart yearns for one to be there when all is lost,

For one to stand for me at any cost.

One to reciprocate love the way I shall indeed,

One to be there when I am lonely and in need.

Maybe mine demands are too high; I ask for too much,

Maybe there is no one of a description such.

Make me forget the night and reign in the day?

In my search I look to the skies above,

And humbly pray for someone to love.

Your Hero

As I hold you the clamour fazes into nothing but zero

I stand with you strong, your love, your hero.

In a blink of an eye we are amongst the clouds above

I have whisked you away from what you fear my dove.

I have fought your antagonists and have risen glorious

The people cheer for me and you as we fly up victorious.

You are why I continue, the reason I press on,

Surely to you my heart does belong.

My enemies knew this and took you away

I was a tired hero but I would save the day.

I flew half way across the world to get to you in time

I would not let them take you, for I was yours and you mine.

I froze the antagonists in their place

To make an end to the meaningless chase.

You fell from the building and your scream pierced the polluted air

You wondered whether I would come, whether I really did care.

I spotted you miles away, I heard you calling,

Seconds later you were no longer falling.

You were in my arms where you was safe and sound

I saved you yet again, I promised to always be around.

Super powers

With super powers I could win your heart,

Melt your heart with my fiery love and freeze your fear,

Make you forget your worries and evaporate your every tear.

In my safe arms you will know no sorrow, no pain

And hope I hope your sweet love I will gain.

With super powers I could go back in time

And right every wrong,

Bend the fabric of time and make our love last extra long.

With super powers I could read your mind

And all good things you lost I could find.

With super powers I could hear you always in your hour of need,

Be there for you when for someone you yearn and plead.

With super powers I could run faster than the speed of sound

And shatter every barrier by which you are bound.

With super powers I could teleport you to places you have never been,

Take you to places you have never seen.

With super powers I could be your strength in time of weakness and in strife,

Save you from the many perils of life.

With super powers I could fly to any great height,

To by you always do right.

With super powers I could win your heart

But with words I could move it, make it restart.

With nothing but words I could move mountains and more

All this, for you I would do this for.

One thing is for certain; I am powerless and that is true

Except for my words and they are only for you.

K.O.Reuben (2008)

Twenty Two for You

How far would you got to make someone realize that you love them?

Would you make them realize that they are a gem?

What would you do if you failed in this-would you try again?

Would you rise up and break the failure chain?

Would you go to any length to prove you loved me?

Would your love blossom like a tree?

Do you really need me or do I just dream?

Do you really want me or are things not what they seem?

Am I a fool for loving you more than I hate?

Is it wrong to assume we met by fate?

Did God really make between us this love?

Or did God not give his approval up above?

Do you think of me day or night?

Or am I another chess piece you shift out of your sight?

Are things truly happening the way they are?

Or am I being pushed away because I am below par?

Am I simply jumping to conclusions?

Or are all my insecurities illusions?

An am I asking one too many?

But what I really want to know is in truth can you answer any?

Do you know that for you I care?

Do you understand that I only want to be there?

Your Heart

A fire in your heart I did start

And you composed the very music in my heart

You beckoned the murky mist away

You filled me with words but robbed me of what to say

I am captured by you but yet I must remain free

For some reason our love can not be

We come so near but yet we are from each other afar

Like the moon and a star

Our hearts sing in tune to one another

But yet we must not love each other

You come so close but there you must stay

Lest my heart you steal away

The ice in your heart I hope to melt away

Help you live not for the past but for today.

I try so hard not to love you not to care

But the truth is I need you and this isn’t fair

If you do not leap, you will never fly

And if you do not love you will never know how to cry

I’m not a genius I’m not experienced or smart

But I do know you posses a heart

I could not tell you this face to face

For I could not look you in the eye

I could not watch my opportunity go by

I have tried not to love you and failed bravely though I did try

And when you read this please do not cry

But in all honesty, I need you, I love you and for you I care

And if after healing you have no heart left, mine is big enough to share.

K.O.Reuben (2008)

What am I when you are you?

What am I when you are you?

I am the beast and you are the beauty.

I am the dirt and you are the fragrant flower

Suitors come and go like bees but I will

Forever be here in, and around you, supporting you,

Helping you to be.

What am I when you are you?

You are as vast, colourful, vibrant and unexplored

As the cosmos and all its content and I the spaceman have only

Begun to scratch your surface.

Should I be disheartened because all those who seek you have

Swords when all I have is a pen?

I possess the sharper weapon and the dexterity to use it to bring down

And to build up.

I build you up because when I look, I look up.

What am I when you are you?

You are the sun burning bright over the hills

I am the tree, blessed by your radiance,

Inspired by your presence.

Would it be too much to ask for your hand

When I am I and you are you?

Our Only One Human Purpose

We are all different people

With different destiny

All heading to the same

But different destination

We re all sand in a sieve

All we desire is to pass through

The barriers of complicated scrutiny

Somehow, even the pebbles get through

We are al different planets

But with all one aim;

To complete our revolution.

Anew-only to start again.

We are all animals

We strive against each other

To survive we eat one another,

We depend on another in harmony of

Symbiosis.

We are all great green of the earth.

We are all different

Some of us flowers, some of us plants,

Some of us weeds.

We all compete for nature’s

Gradual blessing and sudden curse.

We are all different and all the same

Yet we pass through the rough seasons.

Sun, wind, frost, and rain-

We enjoyed them all

And in the season next

A generation new arises, to renovate

To replenish and to restore.

We are all different and all the same

We have nothing in common

And in babble we are scattered

But we love one another.

We are all different people

With different destiny

But the seeds of life we sow

In others will grow

After us and them.

We are all different

And all the same.

Though like moon and sun

We part never to meet again,

Our labour of love is not in vain.

I Am The Damsel You Are The Hero

It’s funny but I am the damsel an you are the hero

Though I am the hero an you are the damsel.

Like a monster with no weakness I rose my head proudly,

Till I saw your face an a heart of flesh I conceived.

Though I am a hero an you are the damsel, you saved me,

An I became thy helpless love in distress.

Like an addictive substance I craved you

But thy face like sunrise was scarce.

Suitor after suitor, sought thy hand

But only I sought thy heart .

Like a hero I fought off resistance that did pull you down to the depths of no return,

An I fought valiantly.

However your heart was not with me,

Though mine was with you.

You drew your sword like a hero,

But attacked me thy love an not your foe,

An I am slain in heartbreak.

Cant you see the darkness around you?

Though I am the hero an you are the damsel,

I am the damsel and you are the hero,

Defeated by yourself in murky pools of pride whose name is “hubris”.

An at lakes edge I wait patiently for you to return.

Bewitched Beloved Bard

Bewitched, beloved, bard,

Lonely, love-lorn lemon.

Why does thy heart cry?

Why do you cry tears of blood?

What becomes of the hero in thee when thy courage is spent?

Where are Solomon’s words that shone you light?

The thought of her frees but binds thee both

She has you in her convoluted web of deceit.

An she makes you her victim

She plays with her food and your feelings likewise.

She is the minstrel and you are the pipe,

She plays what tune she likes and you are powerless to disobey.

You may battle against the spell so very hard

But until you break it you will remain a bewitched, beloved, bard.

L A N Z A

Lanza’s father was a man old an full of years ready to die,

He told Lanza of a great treasure hidden away upon a mountain high.

Before his father could finish Lanza set off,

But he did so at his own cost.

The first of Lanza’s worries was a fire breathing dragon.

It was mean, it was fierce and it left him with only one decision.

He fought the dragon a whole night an a whole day

But still the mighty dragon he could not slay.

He cut off its toe an he cut off its tail

But against the dragon he did not prevail.

Lanza fled from the dragon and ran straight into its nest

Lanza was tired an so here he lay an rest.

The following morning he picked up it’s egg and flung it straight into the seabed.

Lanza took another egg an ran with all his might

Knowing full well the dragon had him in sight.

Lanza dove into the water avoiding a fireball of breath

He pierced its heart and it plunged to its death.

That little closer to the treasure he was indeed

Until he was attacked by an enchanted thorn-weed.

Lanza with his sword slashed an slashed

An in retaliation they scratched him gash after gash.

Pouring dragon blood onto his sword he slashed at the root of each weed

An poisoning them ,thus he was freed.

Scarred by the weeds but that little bit closer

More determined than before, Lanza grew stronger.

Lanza travelled for a day an a week

An laid an rest at the edge of a creek .

A mist hung over it’s surface, the water was clear yet dark

Something dwelt in the water an was ever so stark.

Tortured by curiosity he dipped his head inside

To see if there was anything weird he could find.

As he sunk lower he heard something sing ,

He reached the bottom eventually an found a gold ring.

Lanza hurried to the surface to get some air.

He swam as high as he could but it was no longer there .

Lanza became frightened ,engulfed by darkness all around

He listened well but could hear no sound .

Lanza was worried an wondered what was wrong

Until he heard a deafening loud gong.

The darkness cleared an mermaids could be seen

An in the hand of one of them did the ring he found gleam.

He snatched the ring an swam up to the surface to retire

But the mermaids pulled him back ,

His flesh to eat was their desire.

Lanza escaped them ,an only just,

To get to the surface an clinch his sword he must.

Getting out of the water ,he clinched his sword ready to fight,

Only one mermaid came out of the water an she was a demonic sight .

She had horns ,she had a tail,

But lanza’s courage was growing frail.

Opening her mouth she let out an ear piercing cry,

Lanza covered his ears , fell to his knees thinking he would die .

Lanza was horrified ,his ears would surely pop,

An though he begged an he pleaded she would not stop.

He picked up his sword an lobbed off her head .

She fell back into the water defeated ,dead.

Lanza travelled for quite a while ,

Sometimes he travelled rough an other times in style.

The journey however had taken its toll on him ,

He had grown tired an grown very thin.

Lanza collapsed ,not far from a village nearby,

He then awoke at the sound of a damsel’s cry .

Her cries grew louder an louder yet still

And when Lanza looked there were five gargoyles baring

Their teeth ready for the kill.

Lanza lured them away by promising them a ring ,

An all the way up a mountain they followed him .

Lanza threw the rig straight off the cliff top

An all five gargoyles ran after it an did not stop.

In the damsels village did Lanza abide

An Lanza’s name was made famous far an wide .

Lanza’s life was never ever the same

After the horrible gargoyles he overcame.

Hailed by all ,popularised by fame ,

Lanza had become a hero , he was a household name.

Lanza still had a great mission an that was to find a great treasure

And so he set off to find a fabled armour as light as a feather .

The first bit of armour was an enchanted silver shield,

Protected by a beast in a den under a field.

The second bit of armour was a golden arrow an bow

It could turn anything into gold if bravery you show .

The third bit of armour was indestructible helmet.

It was comfortable to wear as gentle as velvet.

So Lanza set off first in quest of the golden arrow an the bow

An found it in the nest of a giant triple-headed crow.

Without thinking twice he was brave an bold ,

He shot the crow in the heart an it was covered in gold.

He pulled out the arrow an journeyed on

To him the other bits of armour must belong.

Into the den of the beast next ,he journeyed deep

He could hear snoring heavily it was asleep.

He crept round it an snatched the shield

And as it woke it’s protection did he wield.

The beast dare not fight him lest it was slayed

But roared as Lanza ran off bellowing in a rage.

Lanza found the helmet with a fiend of a king .

Apparently he had once searched for the ring.

The king agreed to give Lanza the helmet an made a deal,

As long as he could have the ring in his hands for real .

Rain an water, fog in fights,

Vicious beasts ,an ugly sights.

After all that Lanza got to the mountain foot

And amongst the bones the ring he took.

Lanza decided to take a ship back to the king

But to his ship did vengeful mermaids cling.

They opened their mouths an they did sing

A song about the mermaid queen’s ring .

Lanza’s crew was mesmerized by the song

And for the ring they suddenly did long.

Lanza jumped into the water an the mermaids stopped their song

And Lanza’s crew realized what was wrong.

They shot the mermaids in the throat to stop them singing anymore,

They saved Lanza an sailed to shore.

The king thanked Lanza greatly for the ring

But did not keep his end of the bargain.

Lanza an his men prepared to leave the following day,

Continue their journey an find the treasure another way.

Lanza an his men encountered a horde of soul sucking sylphs

Their souls they derived,

Only poor Lanza survived

Lanza after a day of walking spotted the mystical mountain in sight,

The treasure was surely at the top ,his father was right

Progressive ,progress , progression indeed

He ran all day ,belly he did not feed

Slowing down ,,warring with fatigue

He battled on upwards filled with burning with intrigue.

Lanza reached the top an there was no money ,no gold,

Nothing of value ,of nothing he was told

All there was ,was a woman standing an looking at the view ,

Looking at things of all different hue.

Lanza did the same an was filled with awe ,

He had already found what he was looking for

He had found priceless treasure on his trips here an there,

He had found a damsel ,lovely an fair,

He had made himself a name ,honourable an strong

An there would be legends told of him ,great an long .

Through his journeys he suffered pain an strife .

He now realized that some things were more important than money in life

Lanza explained this to the woman and she laughed with glee,

She revealed herself as the damsel that Lanza did free.

Lanza wondered how she got there an wondered a little more

An then he realized what this mountain was for.

The mountain had made a mirage of the great treasure he had and did need,

An that great treasure was the damsel with which he would have seed.

A mist covered him an the woman was gone

But Lanza had a new mission an it was on .

He found his way back to the village an he did not tarry,

Lanza eventually found the damsel an her did he marry.

He sailed home with his bride, a husband an a king,

His father, tales from his journeys an armour did he bring

Lanza got home an told his father all the ordeals he had been through,

He said “Many have knowledge but wisdom few”

Lanza’s father was happy –he had learnt a lot

He had learnt what was paramount an he would not be forgot.

Lanza’s father died grey an old

Leaving behind a son both wise an bold.

When we were gods

When we were gods

Every monster and foe in existence knew our names.

They trembled at the sound of our blades being drawn from their scabbards

Against us their shields shattered, their fiery breath worthless,

Their venomous strike bringing them no glory.

In our youth we commanded hundreds and thousands into battle,

All those souls so willing to give their lives, not for country but for heroes.

We sat in wait for the antagonists to return to its layer before we stunned

Them with our presence, meeting us they knew they had met their end.

We sought no religion, no saviour because we were gods,

Proud and mighty, brave, strong and enduring.

What we lacked in wisdom we gained in valour and deeds

And many deeds did we have to our name.

We sought nothing because we had everything.

What we all failed to do however, was slow down the hour glass

So that our glory years may not pass away like the life span of a cockroach.

When we were in our youth

We were proud an arrogant,

Hubris was our code of honour,

Obnoxious tendency our second nature.

What we couldn’t get by falsehood we stole and

What we couldn’t steal we attained by falsehood.

Nevertheless, our days of glory are long gone,

The sun set on our achievements

And in the darkness that follows our sins have

Caught up with us as over time we have lost the momentum

We once had in abundance.

A new season has dawned and in this white winter our hair has

Turned that colour, we turn to babes for strength and warmth in the year

We forgot the creed of heroes we knew so well.

I give to my son my shield, my sword,

And my armour, it will live longer than me and

It will see many more challenges through to the end.

It will have a story to tell just like me .I teach My son the sense to be wise and to heed my mistakes and make none of them like the flawed hero I was.

Time has brought about change; now wisdom is great might.

My son will learn that ‘not all strength is power’.

Nevertheless, I’m sure he will hunger to move heaven an earth

As we did, for we have our epitaph carved not in stone but

Written in the stars, so that no one will forget

When we were gods.

So you have come to the end but it is not the end. Be sure to watch out for some short stories and more poetry!
