One afternoon when John was outside playing on the school playground he saw a boy upset and alone sitting under a tree.
“What’s wrong with you?” John asked him.
“Everyone made fun of me.” The boy replied.
“Why did they do that?” asked John.
“Because of my name. They called me a dork.” The boy answered.
“Your name? What is it?” John continued to ask.
“Sydney.” The boy said quietly.
“Sydney? I like that name.” John told him.
“You do?” Sydney asked with half a grin.
