SWAMI SOMEWHERE –BALL GAME
Swami is a baby girl who travels all around the world
But her family never knows when she leaves or where she goes
Because Swami has no clue herself; her trips are by mistake.
Her stroller carries her away and never seems to brake.
It could be a hill that causes the wheels to roll her on her way
Or maybe the street’s a little too steep; it’s just too hard to say.
Swami doesn’t say a word; she’s too small to speak.
She makes sounds and carries around a pacifier between her cheeks.
She never seems to feel in danger; she crosses streets and smiles at strangers.
She gets on trains and flies on planes, no matter the weather, sun or rain.
Today Swami went with Daddy to the stadium to watch a game.
She couldn’t imagine what she had in store when they left out the door in the rain.
As they walked down the street Swami looked up at Daddy and thought, “What a really strange fella!”
