Lady Of Rage

Oppressed, depressed, you wont SUPPRESS me
Brain in overload, my thoughts scream violently
Stop trying to silence me
Wishing you can displace me
Too busy backbiting and they will never face we
From the truth I'll never flee
Come at a high price, this Muslim is never free
Can't stomp out my belief
Some see it as vile
Because i don't come off passive or docile
So their feathers I rile
being seen and not heard has never been my style
This muslimah is too spicy, I have never been mild
When will you see the picture
I refuse to play the victim
Are you getting pissed off, I think you caught my symptoms
Stand against falsehood, it's time to speak the truth
Too many caught up I think they aloof
Wars raged against OUR Muslim nations
While the Muslims vacationing
Got me thinking about the horror our sisters&brothers are facing
Tick Tock to judgment we racing
Look for the Muslims in their spots you will see their still pacing
Never again will they convince me a lie is the truth
What's an ex Christian revert Muslim to do
I refuse to play the fool
25 loud mouth and some considered me rude
When I come back swinging don't consider me lewd
Born and raised in the U.S.A
So that should tell you how I got this way
I vowed to stand my ground to judgment day
Too mad to fear so I can't be afraid
Speaking out against injustice until my soul is taken away
Some still into games, too grown I refuse to play
From this Deen i will never sway
So stop thinking I am crazed
This is from my heart and it wishes to say
La ilaha illAllah and the only being worthy to be praised.
