Trisha walked the long way home. It was getting dark, and a little cool. However she had no jacket. She had just had a row with her boyfriend at the hardware store. She had asked him money for a pregnancy kit. He had grown stiff and suspicious.

“What's it for?” he has asked.

“A kit;” she had declared.

“What kind of kit?” he had asked.

“To see if I am with a child;” she had whispered.

His eyes grew dark and mean. Trisha had wanted to smile, however he had stopped his purchase in order to take her outside. Trisha had thought he was going to propose then and there by the dustbins. However he had instead slapped her so hard she had almost lost it.

“What the hell do you mean pregnant?” he had steamed. “I take it out every time!” he declared.

“I don't know;” she had muttered as she checked her nose for blood. “I don't know, I feel weird and heavy;” she muttered as she began to shiver.

“Well I don't know too;” told her boyfriend. “Now get the hell away from me before I do something I regret!” he steamed.
