Outrunning The Law

Amy looked to the left and then to the right. The cops had gone. She had out ran them. She sighed as she fingered the jewellery she had swiped. She had made it, stolen something and ran from the law! She felt... well she felt a little dizzy. She hadn't been living on anything but water, and she began to feel faintness inside of her spirit. The world began to turn as the air became water that rippled all around her. Amy couldn't even push the jewellery inside of her pocket. She shivered and saw a black space open before her very eyes. It opened inside of her mind, and it was then she fainted.
Amy looked at the police officer. She couldn't believe she had been arrested. It had been a simple swipe and grab at the market. She had stolen everything off the board, and then raced. She hadn't believed the riot that had ensued. Throngs of crowd shouted, and the police were called. She had become a star for the day, and for all the wrong reasons.
Amy glared at the police man in all the good clothes his duty could afford. She wondered what was going to happen? She wasn't sure. She had never been caught before. She was often swift of foot. It made her feel great to race like the wind away from trouble. But now she was caught. Red handed with the loot. She had been told she was in trouble, and she waited for someone to talk.
A key turned the lock. Amy looked to the door as it opened. She saw a new kind of police man walk inside, and she shivered.
