Goodbye

Have I said goodbye to you?

When we parted for the last time

Have I said goodbye?

When you had to leave

Have I told you?

That I love you

Before you left

Forever

Have I told you?

That you’ll be

In my heart

Always and forever

**

Alone

Please,

I can’t be strong anymore

I have to hide

In the shower to cry

Because otherwise

I would only upset you

But I can’t be strong anymore

It’s just too much

And I feel so alone

So alone

**

Time

There is not enough time

No time

Life is too short

Too short

It is here

And then it’s gone

Gone forever

And never to return

Never to return

Never

**

Nobody there

Who catches me

When I fall?

There is nobody

Nobody is there

Who comforts me

When I’m sad?

There is nobody

Nobody is there

Who is there for me

When I need someone?

There is nobody

Nobody is there

**

What will you do?

What will you do?

When your dreams are dying

And you have no hope

Left for yourself

What will you do?

When time turns against you

And the only thing that you have

Is some seconds left

What will you do?

When the end is upon you

And nobody is there

To hold your hand

**

Wherever you are

You look so peaceful

Lying there

But I know well

That it has been a hard journey

Tears stream over my face

Because I know

That I will never

See your eyes again

Never see your smile again

And feel your love for me

I hope you are fine

Wherever you are

**

Sad Christmas

It was a sad, sad Christmas

Without you

Close to me

It was a sad, sad Christmas

Without you

Under the Christmas tree

It was a sad, sad Christmas

Without you

Holding my hand

It was a sad, sad Christmas

Without you

In winter wonderland

**

Dead inside

I face the end of another year

Without you

But I can’t remember anymore

How long you’re gone

Something died inside me

When you left

And there is this coldness

Cold in my chest

Nobody has been able

To warm my heart again

Since you went away

Away from me

I want to live again

Be a part of the world

But I am dead inside

Forever

**

Silence

Silence

Surrounds me

Silence falls down

With the snow

Silence

Is upon me

No sound

Can be heard anymore

Cold

Surrounds me

Cold falls down

With the snow

Cold

Is upon me

It is the last thing

I will feel

Death

Surrounds me

Death falls down

With the snow

Death

Is upon me

As the snowflakes

Cover my face

**

Still there

Everything is still

As you’ve left it

Every minute I think

You’ll come through that door

You still feel

So close to me

But I know

That you’re so far away

I still hope

You’ll stand in front of me

When I turn around

But you’re not there

Never will be there

**

Empty

Empty rooms

Clocks ticking loudly

Dusty surfaces

Windows blind from time

Empty streets

Silent neighbourhoods

Brown grass

Old toys scattered

Empty world

Without life

So long gone

Nearly forgotten

**

Belong

Dying hopes

Dying dreams

Lie shattered at your feet

Lonely days

Lonely nights

Broken pieces of your life

No one here

No one there

But you don’t care

She has left

She is gone

Where do you belong?

**

Goodbye old year

The old year is over

And I know that

I’ll miss it soon

The good and the bad things

The happy and sad

Are all in the past now

A new year ahead of me

New beginnings

But also new ends

Goodbye old year

I’ll miss you much

But you’ll stay in my memory

**

Regeneration

I can see the fear on you face

Feel it in the air

And I want to hold your hand

But you won’t let me

There is this glow around you

It spreads over your body

But you hold my gaze

And I only see your eyes

I don’t want to go

Are your last words to me

Before you change

Into someone else

**

Death rides

Death rides across

The sky tonight

The moon shines bright

He finds his way

Easily through town and

Over mountains and hills

His scythe is always in his hand

His horse obeys his wills

Can you hear him coming?

He comes for you

And don’t try running

He will follow you

**

Nobody

“Nobody” they shout

Every time you cross the street

But you don’t want to show them

How much it hurts

To hear this word

“Nobody” their faces say

When they pass you in a shop

But you don’t want to show them

That every time

A part of you dies

You want to be “Somebody”

So badly

But you don’t have a chance

When everybody thinks

That you’re a “Nobody”

**

Breaking apart

I try to be strong

But I can’t

I’m breaking apart

I try to move on

But it feels wrong

I don’t know where I belong

I try to forget you

But the memories are there

I’m staring at your chair

I’ve tried to be with you

But I can’t

I’m still at the start

**

Silent tears

A silent tear

Runs down my face

When I see you standing there

Beside my grave

I watch your face

It looks so sad

But I can’t come back

Lie next to you in bed

You’ve played a dangerous game

You know that now

I walk away from you

With one last bow

**

Giving up

She gave up her life

To be with you

She gave up her dreams

So yours could come true

She gave you everything

But you wanted more

She promised to try her best

But you showed her the door

She begged and cried

You just turned around

She gave up everything for you

Now she lies here on the ground

**

Darkness

Loneliness is my companion

Death follows in my wake

Always alone

Always running

Centuries pass

Time has no meaning

My heart turns to stone

Who comes to save me?

I am the hero

I am the saver

But who saves me?

Who saves me from the darkness?
