Sex Cicada and the Righteous Kingdom of Albany
The country town of Albany was the very last “free” town. Everything else had been sieged by the Dragons. Life was starting to become hard for teenagers like Jeremiah and his crew. Their local hangout, Celtic Dragon, had been boarded up due to last night’s Dragonspore outbreak. Swelta, one of the leading ladies in Jeremiah’s crew, wasn’t as emotional as he was. That was due to her rough “warrior” upbringing in the House of Leopards. Everyone outside of Albanny knew her as Red Swelta, the woman whom single-handedly took down a Chinese Dragon that had gone Garīgo. Sylren, the British-African and Don, the Italian dragon-shifter, were the “twins” of the group, and they agreed on anything. If one of them got angry, the other would enter defense mode. It was a strange Twinny power that they shared albeit they weren’t related by blood. There was something off-putting about Jeremiah’s crew. They were all famous for their “orgyanic” group sessions. Anyone in town was welcome to join since it was the only thing to do in Albanny. If there were a sexpocalypse of any sort, the inhabitants of Albanny will definitely miss it. Jeremiah’s popularity was immense. The four teens had skipped days in school and snuck out of their house at night to start the sessions. There was a small wooden house that remained hidden in the foothills of Albanny. Jeremiah and his friends always came to that house to feed their ravenous, crazy orgy needs.

Two figures were sitting beside a lone tree in the vast country pastures of Albanny. The moon’s light couldn’t shroud the stars inside the large expanse of space in the sky. Swelta tightly held Jeremiah’s hand as she felt the inner sadness escalate within her, “We can’t keep living like this.” She said solemnly.
The loud screeches of barn owls were sounding the already strange night. Swelta got a glimpse of a barn owl swiftly taking off, great wings swaying up and down as it soared away.
“We won’t live like this any longer,” said Jeremiah. He couldn’t help but to sniff her unnaturally colored red hair. It didn’t smell like strawberries like he had expected. He lightly kissed her, letting his tongue wander into her mouth. She was accustomed to this—to him and his advances. She touched the curls of his hair as he dug his hand deeper into her shorts, trying to seek out that prized possession like he did every night. The female barn owl kept screeching as she surveyed the night from the comfort of her Owlbox. Little dragons started swooping in, probably trying to watch the embracing teenagers. Sweltra tried to block out Slyren and Don’s sexual cries, which they were doing on purpose to intentionally disturb Jeremiah and Swelta.
One of the little dragons flew off as the teenager’s embrace became more rough and explicit.

The Mayor, Cornelius, didn’t care what they did as long as they stayed off his property. His daughter, Mia Machiavelli, always got good grades in class. She took extra courses about Dragons and Crotonians so she could learn more about them. Her dreams were to become the most renown Dragonologist like her idol Doctor Poe. Mia was the smart, beautiful daughter that any father would ask for…BUT she would go out at night as long as she returned at ten. At first he didn’t care because her outing didn’t affect her grades, but he was slowly coming into suspicion about where she went. He knew there was nothing to do in Albanny except work, eat, shop and sex around with everyone.
He told his brother, Mel, to follow Mia on one Tuesday night. Mel was an expert at spying, but that might be due to the fact that was an ex-marine for the US. When he saw Mia passionately embracing some boy with all those teens and adults locked in a sexual trance, he was appalled. He had to get a better view…
He watched from the outside window, peeking in like a curious little boy. Everything they performed was as startling as his realization that they found him. They dragged him in, threatened him a bit to fatten up his fear, and they let him go. He had a chance to leave but some impulse inside him made him turn back. He liked the thought of an orgy.
Mel did not report to the mayor out of fear of the legion of townsfolk, but someone else reported to the newspaper.
By next week’s light, those whom hadn’t participated in the orgies found out about it in the morning paper.
Cornelius read the paper and saw his daughter’s voiceless lies unfold in a photo.
Accompanying the words on the front-page headline was the photo he feared
There she was in that blasphemous still photo: naked and locked in an embrace with Mel, and of Mel’s kiss and stroking embrace and bold nudity
Cornelius saw the lies of his brother.
It’s something one person can call pedophilia and Lolitaism, but to Mel and Mia, it was the fruiting desire.

“Mel, can I talk to you?”
Mel was tending his prized Barn Owl, but he could spare a few minutes to talk.
“Yes, Mia?”
“Look!”
She thrust the newspaper in his face.
“What? What about it?” he asked.
“Look at the photo! It’s us!”
He started feeling panicky as he saw the revealing photo.
The cicadas of wrath were singing their shrill encoded messages. They were rare cicadas that only appeared when a disaster was about to unfold because of extreme anger.
The police arrested Jeremiah, Swelta, Sylren and Don. The townsfolk in their group were subject to arrest and acute apprehension. The teens met Cornelius face-to-face on the unforgiving Sunday morning. They were silent, but their cold stares spoke thousands of buried words.
“Execute them in the field, right next to their funky little shack.” He said with deep hatred.
The Mayor turned his gaze to Mel and Mia. He felt a slight tear emit from his eyes, then he felt malice. His own flesh and blood was not a pure virgin like he had thought.
“Kill these two, and make my brother traitor suffer,” he spoke coldly, delivering the message of punishment, “Set him afire in the field, where she can watch her lover burn.”
In the field the teens were lined up. They were bound by their handcuffs and turned their eyes to the sky. The corrupted police officers tied Mel to a pole. Everyone in town was watching, even the children. There was silence as Cornelius brought the torch to his fearful brother.
He whispered the last words his quivering brother would hear, “A dragon will always die by the shrill song of the Cicada.”
He threw the torch onto the parched firewood and watched as the flames flew up in a fury of fire.
“No!!!!”
Mia screamed her heart out as Mel screamed his pain, loud enough for the villagers to hear. Jeremiah sang a song about romance; he kept his tone low to himself, but his timid whispers became louder as the screams filled the day. Swelta, Sylren, Mia and Don knew the song very well, and so did the townspeople. Mia hung her head low, the soft winds caressing her hair and drying her tears. She sang with them, she sang for Mel, a man she barley knew.
Time and time again I know where I stand
If it ensures me that we’ll be together I’ll take a bullet for you
I’ll leap across the universe for you
And I’ll die for you til’ the end of the fairy tale…
The teenagers sang their song loud and proud. The policemen aimed their shotguns. They all hesitated at the trigger.
Cornelius shouted, “Well, what are you waiting for? SHOOT THEM!”
The policemen lowered their guns and denied following the orders
The rest is obviously known…
But then they thought about it,
a simple task, no big mess
And a big payroll or paycheck at the end
They raised their guns again
The Barn Owls fled with the little dragons at the sound of booming gunfire.
Jeremiah’s Song
Wherever my purpose lays
There is something that’s keeping me away
The years have all gone by
A looking glass to reveal my face
An adult to let go of all grace
Time and time again I know where I stand
If it ensures me that we’ll be together
I’ll take a bullet for you
I’ll leap across the universe for you
And I’ll die for you alone
Life seems to be like bugs
It makes one cringe and scourge
We live as one enity
Seeking to break the glass floor
And swell into the universe
As more than one
Time and time again
I know where I stand
If it ensures me that we’ll be together
I’ll take a bullet for you
I’ll leap across the world
And make the universe yours
And I’ll die with you and take you up our home
The world is too vast and colorless
I need you to resurrect the jest of this planet
Time and time again
I know where I stand
I’ll leap across the universe for you only
Time and time again I know where I stand
If it ensures me we’ll be together
I’ll take a bullet for you
I’ll leap across the universe for you
Just for you
Time and time again…
(I will stay with you, I will be your friend. I know where I begin, I know where I end, I know where I live, I will leap the world for you)
I’ll leap the world, and fulfill your dream
Live for you
And I’ll die with you
And I’ll take you home
For the end of the Fairy Tale
