View of Death
To each of us there is a time
Not of our choosing
Will we be afraid of the moment
Will we be glad of it’s coming
To each of us the appointed time
Unknown to each mortal soul
Always coming nearer
Is there fear in your heart
Will it be pleasant or terrifying
Do we go through life in joy or fear
Especially as the time could be near
The unknown moment always approaching
Death is a beginning not an end
Everlasting life has been promised
So death never really comes
We may leave the world we know
Thank God, a better one waits.
