The following story is fictional and does not depict any actual person or event.

I was walking through the park when I first saw him. He was in the middle of a cool down stretch, leaning on a park bench to work his quads. He looked like a marble statue come to life, perfectly sculpted. It was clear he spent a lot of time working out, and just looking at him excited me. I tried not to stare as I made my way past him, but he glanced up and grinned knowingly. I felt my face flush red and smiled back apologetically. God, Jessica, what’s wrong with you? I asked myself. It’s not like I hadn’t seen a hot guy in the park before. This one was different though. I snuck a quick look behind me as I exited the park, hoping he was still there but he had already gone. Oh well. The best ones always get away.

Work was dull and uneventful, allowing for some time to daydream. Unsurprisingly, I thought about Tall, Dark, and Handsome from that morning. If only he hadn’t been stretching like that. Limber men are so sexy. I spent the next half hour daydreaming that I had plucked up the nerve to ask him out, and that we spent the weekend having kinky sex in my apartment. My boss popped her head around the corner of my cubicle just as I was getting to the good part.

“Hi Jessica,” she said, “Would it be possible for you to stay late tonight? I have some figures for you to go over.” I groaned internally. Of course I didn’t want to work late on a Friday. My boss was generally pretty good about not bringing things up last minute like this though, and that she had meant it was important.

“Sure, Cindy,” I replied. I didn’t have any plans anyway, and this would net me a few more hours for the week.

I walked out of the office well after five, and made my way home through the park. Admittedly, I was hoping for another glimpse of my mystery man, though it was unlikely he would be back again. Even with that in mind, I kept an eye out for him.

I was about halfway through the park when I spotted him. There was no mistaking those long legs. I slowed my pace to watch as he made a leisurely circuit around the pond. He had shoulder length black hair and was clean shaven. Even from a distance he looked sexy as hell, and his gait was relaxed. He almost looked as if he were just killing time, waiting for someone to come along and say hi. I found myself veering towards him slightly, and had to stop a moment to think about what I was doing. As attractive as he was, I still shouldn’t walk up to a strange man in the middle of the park by myself. So I firmly pointed myself in the direction of home and kept walking.

I was nearly out of the park when I noticed he was jogging toward me, and that we would cross paths before I left. My heart began to beat faster. Would he remember me from this morning? Should I slow down to avoid him? Should I say hi? I became so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice when I nearly collided with him and he had to jump out of the way to avoid bowling me over.

“Oh God, I’m sorry!” I exclaimed. I felt like a complete idiot. Here I was wondering how to get his attention without looking stupid and I nearly ran him over. Way to go Jessica, now he’s definitely not going to go out with you. I realized he was smiling at me and I smiled back. Or tried to, anyway. When our eyes met I felt a jolt of desire ripple down my body. Suddenly I wanted to rip my clothes off and have him right there on the park bench. I shook my head a little to clear it, but the longer I remained close to him, the more I wanted him. I saw that he was still smiling, and my legs wobbled a little.

“Would you, uh, like to come over?” I heard myself asking. I had to have this man naked, now.

He chuckled, and said, “Nice to meet you too. I’m Liam.”

Oh, right. Introductions. I struggled to think clearly. Something about this wasn’t normal I mean, the guy was smoking hot, but normally men don’t leave me weak kneed in the park and inviting them home. To hell with it, I thought. I would get this man inside my apartment one way or the other.
