Moon was in a bad mood. “I am fed up of living here,” he said to Earth.
“Why Moon, what’s the matter?”
“The people that live on you are so rude! They look at me through telescopes day and night.”
“I’ll never forget the time they landed on me and stabbed me with a sharp flagpole.”
“But you belong here with me,” said Earth.
“I need to find another planet to live with.”
Moon flew away leaving Earth looking very sad indeed. “The other planets don’t have annoying humans living on them. I’m sure to find a nice home somewhere in the solar system.”
He travelled nearer to the sun until he came to the planet Venus. Venus is a very hot world surrounded by billowing, hot clouds.
“Hello,” said Moon.
“Whose there?”
“It’s me, Moon.”
“Spoon did you say?”
“Moon!”
“What? I can’t hear you over the steaming.”
