In the heart of the financial district, the parade is moving slowly in the ocean of confetti
Well-wishers and revelers line up the streets, shouting and waving at the champs
Everyone stops to honor the hard work of the team that has defeated the Patriots three times
The hard-working men enjoy the sights and sounds of the players waving back atop their perch
While raising their trophy in the heart of the Big Apple
Taxi drivers and their passengers cannot stop talking about the exploits of the Salsa dancer in heavy gear
They can barely muster enough courage to tell the next stories. Their voices are hoarse
“Oh, did you see how Tuck dropped all his weight on Tom Brady?” asked the nearby banker.
“Yeah, that was the best play I’ve ever seen. This sack was good enough to hurt Tom Brady and make him feel inferior to Eli Manning. It was a crusher-cruncher,” replied the hedge fund manager, sipping a passion fruit ice tea.
