A Mother's Love

A mother is many things,

But above all else

A mother is the one who loves her child

Unconditionally, completely and forever.

A mother’s love never sways, never disappears

And only becomes stronger as time goes by.

A mother is the light

That leads the way in the darkness of life.

A mother is the hope

That you cling to

And the guiding hand

You hold on to.

A mother is the reason you exist

And the reason you go on.

And even when the world seems like a cold a lonely place

Solace can be found in a mother’s warm embrace.

Mother

For my mother, whom I love so much,

I make one wish,

That she be happy forever, in this world.

What ever she does comes straight from her heart

And her pure soul holds the secret of life.

As she wakes,

Dawn covers her with her light

And gives her a beautiful smile,

That she shares with us.

As I look at her

I think she is an Angel

That spreads her wings

Comes down to earth

And embraces me in her arms.

Though words

May inspire

And enlighten us,

Only acts of true love

Can ever touch our souls.

The Beginning of Life

God created Adam and Eve.

But because of their own choice

They were banished from Heaven

And God punished Eve

By making her endure the pain of childbirth.

But God's curse became a blessing

Because no matter what pain Eve endured

She knew that she had created life

And that was all that mattered.

A mother's love is so very strong

And knows no boundaries

And the bond between a mother and her child

Is unbreakable.

Untitled

Joyful are those

Who find happiness.

And happiness

May be

The beginning of

A sunny day

Or the end of

A rainy day.

Mother

To find Beauty

You must look not with your eyes

But with your heart.

Beauty will be found

Sitting peacefully in a Paradise

That was made for her only.

At her side you are seated

Surrounded my a million roses.

Your every word spreads like music

And to the listener's ear it sounds Heavenly.

You're gifted in so many ways,

More than I can even say.

Your heart is wider and deeper than any ocean.

And your love knows no boundaries.

Live in the perfect harmony

That you have created

And forever hold happiness in your hands.

I may not know

Every Who, What,

When, Where

How or Why

But I do know the essence:

"I LOVE YOU!"

Untitled

Inadequacy of words

Is something that only occurs

When someone is trying to say

Just what their mother means to them.

For You

Far across the land and the sea

Lies a gem

Ever so ever so precious.

It sparkles

Just like the sun

From North to South,

From East to West.

Once I dreamed

I was near it

And I could see it

Ever so ever so clear.

Suddenly, when I least expected it

I heard a voice

The voice said to me:

"Would you like to have it?"

And I replied:

"No. For I have a gem

Much better than this one."

"And does it sparkle so?"

Asked curiously the voice.

"Oh! Much more"

I replied.

"Then you must be proud

To own such a gem"

Said the voice.

"But I do not own the gem" said I

"For the gem is the giver or my life, my mother"

"But how can a human be a gem?"

Asked the voice.

"She is as precious as a gem"

I replied.

"But how can she sparkle so?"

Wondered the voice.

"She has a sparkle in her eyes.

It came the day

She first saw her baby

And looked at it with all the love in her heart".

When I finished what I was saying I awoke.

I then thought to myself

How much more precious my mother is

Than any gem in the world.

Untitled

To put into words

Just how special

You really are

Is something

Nor I

Nor any mortal man could ever do.

Your light

Shines brighter that the sun

And for longer than eternity itself.

The world became a better place

The day you became a part of it.

And I will love you

Until the end of time.

Untitled

I ask of you

One small kiss,

I am willing to give you the world.

I ask of you

Your everlasting love,

I am willing to give you my soul.

Forever I will love you

And every thought I ever had of you

Will always remain

Deep in my heart.

Mother

Your eyes

Like stars

To brighten our lives.

Your lips

Sweet cherry pie

To sweeten our days.

Your words

Bird's melodies

For music to enter us.

Your hair

The finest silk

To soften our hands.

Your heart

A garden full of:

Sweet pink

Beautiful red

Bright yellow

And enchanting mauve flowers

To make the bouquet of life.

And I know

That every time

I hold you

I'm touching

A piece of Heaven.

Untitled

I did not fear

The raging winds,

I did not seek shelter

From the falling rain,

I did not tremble

With the sound of thunder,

I did not cower

At the sight of lightening,

And all of this

For the whole time

I was clasping your hand.

Untitled

You ask me

If I love you,

Well I do.

You ask me

If I could live without you,

Well I couldn't.

And if you should ask me why

I shall of course reply:

"Because no one and nothing

Could ever replace

Your human grace."

Untitled

Every morning

The sun rises

And brings with it a new day

To a world a little different than the day before,

And each day that passes

The world changes a little more,

But one thing never changes

And that is a mother’s love for her child

And her child’s love for her.

Forever lasting love

That makes the word a better place to live in.

Untitled

Some how

It does not seem fair

That you are given

But one day a year

In which to celebrate.

So I shall give you

A kiss a day

To show you

Just how much

I love you!

Untitled

If in this life

I did not have you

Then I would not be able to face any trial in life

Every hill would seem like a mountain,

Every river would seem like an ocean

And no day would end with a smile.

But I do have you,

So every day begins with hope

And a promise for an even better tomorrow.
