Once upon a time . . . I’m sure it wasn’t twice,
I saw a little dragon and he seemed very nice.
He sat in the branches of a tall, green tree,
and I’m sure he was trying to hide from me.
Now, we all know that dragons can choose not to be seen
and I wouldn’t have seen him if he had been green!
But he chose to be red, and a bright red at that,
standing out in that tree like a WELCOME mat.
