The Wall
Its starts with just a stumble
Right before you really fall
The pain, the dark, the loneliness
Then you seem to hit a wall
There’s no way out, or so it seems
So you spiral even lower
Losing faith, hope and your dreams
Then time starts moving slower
You look for help from anywhere
In all your desperation
And drugs seem such and easy way
To find some satiation
But it’s not long before you realize
No matter how intoxicated
Instead of getting better
Things are just more complicated
You long for things the way they were
Before this nightmare started
You hate your friends and family
To see you broken hearted
You vow to find the answer
To get out of this abyss
And try to find a way to say
I will promise this
I know you have your worries
And doubts are none too few
But I swear I’ll work my hardest
To come back home to you
I’ll make you proud yet once again
Please have faith in me
I’ll be the jess you want to love
The girl I’m meant to be
One day you’ll hear my name
When the honor roll they call
And say there goes our Jessica
She finally climbed the wall
