BOOK 1 Zeltars Revenge: CHAPTER 1

The future December 20 2450 AD. Time Travel is common. The location, Xorbon Industries Silicon Valley, USA. For centuries Silicon Valley had been the very heart of the computing industry. A young 20-year-old male and female wearing blue one-piece lycra looking uniforms are working in a Roboid factory operating a large machine. A Roboid was now the human name for a robot or Android. The factory is large, 4 acres wide. Advanced machinery fills the floors, flying objects drop parts to the assembly lines below, steam bellows and whistles from pipes around the noisy factory. Another young short blonde haired man, Zeltar his name is talking to the young male and female. Zeltar, wearing a red uniform being the genius head scientist of the company, is carrying a baby. All 3 laugh a while, the female, mostly admires the baby in Zeltars arms. How old is he, asks the female? 5 hours replies Zeltar. Isn’t he cute, asks the female to the male? Just like a prune replied the male, her work colleague and newly wed husband. They all laughed. The noisy factory suddenly awakens the baby. I think it is time to take him to his mother said Zeltar suddenly going to turn. The newlywed groom has his back to Zeltar picking up a large metal bar he uses in part of his job and simultaneously turns round going to say goodbye to Zeltar , the groom not realising Zeltar is much closer to him than he thinks. The bar knocks Zeltar accidentally still carrying his newly born baby son. Zeltar stumbles trying not to drop his delicate son, noooooooooooooooooo cries the female, trying to reach Zeltar as he and his baby fall into the Roboid machine, The groom drops the bar also trying desperately to save Zeltar and his newborn from a terrible fate. Other workers look around at the commotion. It is too late. The two newlyweds fail. Horror on their faces they look at each other embracing, the woman crying in her new husbands arms little knowing that the future was about to become their worst nightmare.
