God Loves Rich People
Whenever people talk about how or where to find God,
I always tell this story:
God loves rich people.
I mean look what he gives them:
Cars, homes, women and money.
He makes them handsome and beautiful.
If you get close enough check them out,
You will see I'm right.
God doesn't like poor people.
Look what they get:
Disease, famine. They're sick and broke,
With bills to pay and no money.
You won't find God in the ghetto,
He doesn't like the hood.
It's too dangerous,
He might get mugged, or worse.
His security men tell him it's a no-no.
If you're looking to pray to God in the winter, face south.
Because God is in Palm Beach for the winter,
I saw Him there once in the back seat of a Rolls.
An old guy with white flowing hair and a beard,
A black guy was driving the car.
In the summer you can find God up in Maine,
So face north when you pray,
He is up there with the Bushes
In a place called Kennebunkport.
Don't ask me why.
Anyway that's where He is, with His people.
So if you're poor,
Don't waste your time looking for help from God.
He's busy taking care of the rich folks, all over the world,
He just doesn't have the time, energy,
Or money for the poor.
There's too damn many of them.
God Loves Rich People Some More
The great financial collapse of ’08 proved once again
The abundant special blessings God bestows upon the rich
His chosen people.
Financial collapse on a global scale was coming
It was because of the greed and excess of God’s beloved,
They were running wide open pedal to metal
as the saying goes
God had let them find more and more devious ways
to stay very rich.
God of course did not concern Himself with the fact
That the poor would again be crushed, simply saying
That the poor will always be with us.
So when the billionaires on Wall Street were in big trouble
And were sure to finally get theirs,
Quickly and without even a prayer God appeared,
(disguised as the American taxpayer)
With unlimited, no-strings money,
all they needed to be saved,
And then gave them some more
So that they would be even richer than they were before.
I mean if it wasn’t divine intervention what else could it be,
The rich on Wall Street were not in doubt
They knew that they were always safe
In the bosom of the Loving God of the Rich
And would always receive His special blessings.
And then God
Performed His usual reverse Robin Hood act for the poor
Loading them with debt
That they could not possibly afford
Giving them homes
With mortgages that were impossible to pay
Then foreclosing those homes
And putting the poor on the street.
Then He thought that poor people weren’t humble enough
So he put 40 million out of work. For a long time.
He let 53 million go without health care,
Many died, so be it.
Now that the poor were broke
God made it impossible for them to borrow any money
For any reason
God needed to do these things to the poor
In order to help the people he really
Loves, the blessed rich.
So poor folks you are fucked again,
As it was in the beginning, as it is now, and ever will be
AMEN!!
Crazies
I was walking down the street in New Haven this evening,
For a Saturday night walk.
It was a beautiful warm September night,
Lots of people on the streets of New Haven.
It’s a college town after all,
Students, men and women, all doing what they do,
And as always there were the usual group of “crazies”,
Some talking or shouting or singing.
Some were filthy and stunk,
And some looked downright dangerous.
But as I thought about these people that the so-called “normals”
Call “crazy” and “dangerous”
These thoughts came to mind:
It’s the so-called normal people
That are really crazy and dangerous, very dangerous.
In a recent survey 72% of these normal folks
Believe that Noah’s Ark is a historical fact.
And 42% of them believe that Saddam
Had a direct connection with 9/11,
Even though their President, GW Bush,
And Congress and the CIA,
Say he did not have anything at all to do with it.
These same normals believe in heaven, hell,
And miracles from their numerous gods.
These are the people that knew there were WMDs,
And that Saddam had nukes,
And that Richard Jewell was guilty,
And would have lynched him, given the chance.
These are the real crazy people,
The ones who believe stem cells are human,
And the kids should pray in school.
These are the same God-fearing people,
Who in days gone by,
Would hang an innocent black man from a tree branch
On a Saturday night and then go to church
To pray to their white God on Sunday.
Crazy, huh?
So next time you see some “crazy” person
Talking to themselves or pissing on the sidewalk,
Not to worry, they are not dangerous.
It’s those other so-called “normal” crazy, dangerous,
Stupid bastards we have to worry about,
These frightened ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Beware, boys and girls, beware.
Missing the Point
All the religions
That have been made up
Since the beginning of religion
Have had a way of getting people out of death.
Since death was and is to most people,
A scary, mind-numbing, frightening, inevitable prospect.
So religions say, ‘Don’t worry.
This life may be very hard for most people,
And death is always around the corner.
But don’t worry, what happens in this life
Really doesn’t mean that much.
We will be going to a better place:
Heaven, reincarnation, or the happy hunting ground.’
This misses the whole point of life,
If humans didn’t have religion
To ‘get them to a better place’,
They then would perhaps take a look
At this wonderful life that we have.
This amazing consciousness,
Cognition, this precious planet
With its beauty and climate that permits our life.
Without any religions’ dubious promises of a way out,
That’s better than this temporary futile existence.
Perhaps we then could concentrate
On the unbelievable precious wonderful life
That we have, and not squander it
In the way we humans do,
In wars, and preventable poverty, and disease.
If humans understood that this priceless,
Beautiful life we have, must be understood
As the only life that we will ever have,
And that it will be gone,
In the blink of an eye,
For all eternity.
If we really could know this,
On the deepest possible human level,
That no religion will take us to a “better place”,
That this life that we have IS “the better place”,
And that we must enjoy and protect it with a ferocious zeal,
Because of its brevity
And because of its wonder and beauty.
If there had never been any religion with its false message,
We humans then could value the human race now,
This planet now, and love one another now.
Yes, right now.
There is no tomorrow.
Jesus Man
George W Bush is a Jesus man,
Meaning a born again Christian
He was messed up on alcohol and drugs, and his wife
Said shape up or get out,
And brought him to some Jesus church
To be saved, and saved he was, so he says.
He says he became a true believer in the gospels
And in the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
Bush talks to God every day, and believes he is doing
The work of God and Jesus.
So here’s the problem with all that.
Jesus would have nothing to do with any form of violence.
How is it that G.W. Bush says he is follower of Jesus,
And can yet wage a war,
Where soldiers are killed and are killing.
In the New Testament, Jesus says many things, like:
A. Love your enemy
B. If a man takes your shirt, give him your coat
C. If a man slaps your face, give him the other cheek
D. Those who are free from sin cast the first stone
E. Only God can judge
F. Love one another as I have loved you
G. I would rather give my life than kill
H. If I wanted an army, I would have one.
Nowhere does Jesus talk of retribution or war,
He says it is better to die than to kill.
But these holy people are killing now,
Causing troops to kill and die in an unholy war.
War must be the Devil’s favorite pastime,
Did the devil make GW go to war?
Was that eye for an eye, and all that Old Testament stuff?
That doesn’t fly with Jesus, who said
I come with a new covenant
That’s a new law:
Love your enemy. Not kill your enemy
Bush is all ugly filthy bullshit,
All nonsense,
All fake morals,
That a majority is stupid enough to buy into;
God be damned.
All in the Name of God
War is going wild in Iraq.
Many are being killed in the name of God.
The U.S. President George Bush
Is a Born-again Christian who loves his God.
He believes that he is doing God's work,
He wants to fulfill Bible prophecy,
To rid the Holy Land of the Muslims,
And return it to the Jews,
Who will later be killed or converted,
To fulfill Bible prophecy.
The Jews want war for their God,
Who doesn't believe in the Christian God.
They want the Holy Land for their own God,
So they can rebuild the temple
And wait for the Messiah,
Who the Christians say is already here.
The Muslims want the holy land,
For their god Allah and their religion Islam.
They want Israel to be called Palestine.
They say it is their ancient home.
Now the U.S. is in Iraq trying to kill Muslims
In the name of God.
The Muslims are killing American soldiers,
In the name of Allah.
The Jews are killing Muslims too,
In the name of Jehovah.
Who do you think will give up their God?
That's right, none of the above.
How the hell does this end?
And don't forget the other God,
Yes, money is also in play here.
Oil is underground
and the money worshipers want it.
One thing I know for sure
Is that three of the Gods say don't kill.
Yet murders are being carried out in their name.
The money guys are the only non-hypocrites in this.
They always stick to their beliefs
And are totally loyal to their God.
Whose God Is in Play Here?
Lots of people like to talk about God
And His/Her influence on their life,
And the life of the world we're in,
And the life of the world to come.
So what does that really mean?
Whose God is in play right now on earth,
Or heaven or hell for that matter?
If you talk to a Christian they say:
"Jesus is God,
The way, the truth,
The life, the Prince of Peace".
Yet Christians will execute people, in wars.
All in the name of the "Prince of Peace".
What's going on here?
The Bible is called the "Good Book",
The absolute word of God.
In the slave days in U.S.A.
The overseer would hold the "Good Book",
The Word of God, and read to them from it.
Telling them about the works of Saint Paul,
Wherein Paul says "Slaves obey your masters"
Then that slave master said:
"Yes, I know the man up in the Big House,
He's living good now, having his women
And good food and his parties,
But he is going to hell and you're going to heaven!
Now you pick that cotton."
Religious mind control, to keep the slaves quiet,
Telling them they'll get their reward,
In the future, in the some other world.
Nice trick.
Right from the Word of God.

Validating their slavery.
Wow.
The Death Loophole
Religion, especially Christianity,
Is really about people looking for
A loophole around death.
So Christianity comes up with a scenario
That gives people a way around it.
What is a more powerful sell than a way
To stay alive forever? Wow!
Look at the industry
Around that promise.
From the Catholic Church, at the Vatican and Rome,
To the storefront churches in the U.S.A.
A lot of preachers would have to find real work
Without the death loophole.
Jesus was the mastermind behind the whole movement.
When He came up with the new covenant,
A contract that spelled out the course of action,
That must be agreed to, to protect the contract holder,
To get them to the Promised Land, and life everlasting.
Was Jesus God?
Or was He just the First Jewish Lawyer?
Eternity
Eternity. What is it? Where is it?
As we await death and our eternal life,
It seems that all good things are always
Just ahead and that we must be good
And wait...
Eternity is here and now
It has nothing to do with time.
Our present life is our Eternity,
This great world with all its good and evil,
After all one person's good is another's evil,
So we must not be too judgmental.
Living every precious day,
Weathering the storms,
Reveling in what happiness we may find,
Loving as much as possible, hating never.
Live and let live, be kind, be fair
Give of yourself, love nature
Let your nature be love.
Catholic Priests
Catholic Priests, those holy righteous men.
Talked of faith and blessings, again and again,
To get their message across they used all their ploys
And gave all their special blessings to the altar boys.
Politics

Gun Control
Every time a horrific crime is committed
With a gun or guns,
Cries go out by the media
Civic groups and law enforcement for strict
Gun control laws.
What they really want is the confiscation
Of all guns held in the hands of the public
The logic of course being,
No guns no crime.
Well let’s see what would really happen if
Government and its law protectors
Were the only ones with all the guns
As well as the criminals, who will always be armed:
Tyranny, dictatorship,
Loss of liberty for the People
The only reason that this country is relatively free
Is that the civilian population is armed, with guns.
That keeps them free from excessive
Government oppression.
Since the line between government and criminals
Is all but invisible
Why would the public want to
Give them all the weapons to kill
Us poor unarmed Gun-controlled fools?
Frogs in the Pot
The American voters in 2010 midterm elections
Are like the proverbial frog
In the pan of cool water on a hot stove.
They are swimming around
And eating some of the Republican crumbs tossed to them
While they backstroke around,
Feeling warm and comfortable with the lullaby
That the Republicans are singing to them,
About lower taxes, lower medical costs
And private Social Security,
Getting rid of this Devil Muslim Alien Black President
Oh how nice and warm it all makes them feel.
Suddenly they feel the water getting too hot
And realize that it was all a trap all fake all bullshit
They are beginning to sweat
To feel very warm and uncomfortable
And just when they thought
The water was a little too hot and dangerous
And that they better get the hell out
While they still had the chance,
They died.
Gay Marriage
(Homos Getting Hitched)
The religious right is going crazy
Over same-sex folks getting “married”
They are talking about the sacredness of marriage
And that it should be performed only on a hetero couple,
A man and a woman.
Well what is so sacred about man-woman marriage?
50% of so-called sacred man-and-women marriages
End in divorce.
Untold millions of children have been abused, abandoned,
Even killed by man-women marrieds.
The Christian right calls homos an abomination to God,
And says that homos are made not born;
That they choose that lifestyle.
I guess because it’s so easy and so much fun.
Yeah, right! Who the hell would choose that lifestyle?
Jesus never said a word about gays or same-sex marriage.
Don’t forget, Jesus was walking around with 12 men.
Jesus said “Love one another”,
And He did not qualify His love or acceptance.
He left no one out, and no group out.
His love is universal and unconditional!
I believe that Jesus would have performed
The marriage of gays Himself,
And would have blessed the happy couple.
How the hell does a same-sex marriage
Affect a hetero marriage in any way?
Do the heteros think that they will become gay
Because their neighbors are?
Hetero men and women masturbate,
And have anal and oral sex same as gays.
Christian women are always taking
The name of the lord in vain when they orgasm,
And are yelling Oh God Oh God, I’m cumming!!
Or thank you, Jesus, that felt so good.
Isn’t that a sin and abomination to God?
These so-called Christians
Who hold themselves out to the public
As followers of Jesus, Prince of Peace,
Lover of the unlovable, forgiver of all, harming none.
Jesus tells us not to judge lest we will be judged ourselves.
What Jesus are they following?
I’ve never heard of him.
The bottom line is this.
The U.S. Constitution says that all people
Have the in inalienable right to life liberty,
And the pursuit of happiness.
Yes that means gays are included period.
We are all God’s children or none of us are.
We are all free or none of us are.
Gays are forced to pay taxes and to fight and die in wars.
Gays have all of the same responsibilities and duties we all have.
What rights should they not have,
That the wonderful sinless Christians heteros have?
Lies
The last two Presidents elected
In the United States of America
At the end of the 20th century were both liars.
The first one lied about sex:
He was impeached.
The second lied about life and death:
He was honored.
Which one was the worse liar?
The Damage of 9/11
The damage to the USA by the 9/11 attack
That brought down the World Trade Center,
Blasted the Pentagon, and damn near blew up the Capitol
Was the biggest disaster to ever hit this country,
Bigger than all the wars combined,
Bigger than any and all economic disasters before it
Here’s why, since 9/11 this country
Has had its Liberty destroyed,
As well as its treasury and Global reputation,
Liberties that we had forever such as
Free unhindered travel is permanently gone.
Now you need a passport to come and go from anywhere,
Privacy gone, phones tapped without a warrant,
Wars started with out a declaration of war as the constitution says is a must,
Wars started with the wrong country
Blood of innocents spilled in the name of the
“WAR ON TERROR”
In fact so many of our sacred Liberties
And our reputation of the “Shining City on the Hill”
Have been destroyed in its infamous name
Hate for Islam is now common
The reputation of the United States
In the Arab/Muslim world
Has been destroyed beyond repair.
The US never tortured, now we do
The US never attacked first (pre-emptive strike)
We now say its ok
Those goddamn sons of bitches that managed to carry out (with boxcutters)
The takeover of four fully-loaded major airliners,
And crash three of them into their appointed targets is beyond incredible,
Especially that the CIA, FBI and many other people
Knew that the Hijackers were in the country learning to fly jet liners
But not wanting to learn to land them. Duh!!
And did nothing to stop them.
Bush was told of imminent danger he did nada nothing,
So they did it and now we the American people will pay forever in treasure.
There are some 800 (anti-terror agencies)
Countless thousands have been added to the federal payroll
Two trillion on wars and counting
An 800 billion annual defense budget,
This will all end up being the real terror attack
On the country
When we go broke.
Freedom and Liberty are different things
A people can be free without Liberty they are not one and the same.
Liberty is the all important condition
“Give me Liberty or give me death” said Patrick Henry.
Sadly we lost our Liberty on 9/11
And it is with unfathomable sadness and anger
That I see what see it is not the condition I want to live in

Pro-Life, Pro-Choice
The so-called Right-to-life group,
Are mainly right-wing Christians,
They speak of rights of the unborn.
That all life is sacred and precious,
And the pregnant woman has no rights whatever,
Even to her own life.
These same Right-to-life folks,
Believe they are talking to God,
And believe in the Ten Commandments,
Thou Shalt not Kill, et cetera.
So how is it that they will vote for a war,
Where unborn children will be killed,
In the wombs of their mothers?
How can Christian Right-to-lifers,
Endorse dropping bombs from B-52s?
How can they be willing to execute prisoners,
Or deny health care coverage
To the very same children they are so concerned about?
Many children will die from neglect
By the very same Right-to-lifers.
A woman's right to choose
Although there are other religious people involved.
What to do with her body,
Is hers and hers alone.
No one can tell her what to do, especially males.
Her body is sacred, and her reproductive system
Is hers alone.
Neither the government nor religious fools,
Can force her carry a baby to term,
And then deliver it, and be responsible for its survival.
Do they want to tie her up, imprison her?
Abortion, yes abortion, let's use the word,
Can be a good thing.
Look at how much better the world would have been
If Hitler had been aborted in his mother's belly.
Or Ted Bundy, or Saddam, or Osama.
The list could go on, but you get the picture.
Think of all the idiots that have been aborted,
The Hitlers and Bundys.
It's a great thing this procedure exists.
Right-to-lifers are huge hypocrites.
They want to save the unborn,
Yet will let them be killed after they are alive.
They say life is sacred, yet will wage
war and kill innocents.
What's going on here?
Our country has freedom of religion.
But what about freedom FROM religion?
President Barack Obama
The man who became President of the United States in ’08
One Barack Hussein Obama
Was someone that I became interested in supporting
As I watched the primary campaign unfold
In paying close attention to the contest I saw that Obama was cool confident and actually thought before he spoke,
Imagine that.
I wanted to find out more about this man,
Here is what I found that impressed me about him
That makes me glad that he is President
The country is lucky to have him in that seat
Obama was born of a white mother
And a black African father,
After a while the father returned alone to
Africa abandoning the family
His mother met another man and
Moved her son to Indonesia,
Where he stayed until he was eight or nine years old,
Getting to see firsthand how other people lived in this world outside the USA.
Later he was to return to Hawaii
To be raised by his white grandmother and grandfather,
Who was a WW2 veteran
So here we have a boy from a broken home
No money working class who is half white and half black African
Who would become President of the USA
He goes to Columbia on his own merits, Graduates,
Because he is half black,
That means in this country you are all black,
So he had to find his way in the black community
Becomes a community organizer in Chicago
Goes to Harvard Law
Becomes president of the Harvard Law review
And graduates with Honors.
Moving along he becomes a state legislator,
Then a United States Senator
And after two years in the Senate he runs for President
And beats the Clintons for the nomination
Runs against the senile McCain and the moronic Sarah Palin and becomes President of the USA
The first truly African (his father) American (his mother) to do so WOW
The blacks like to claim him as their own
But he was half white after all
