"God will take you through hell just to get you to heaven." T.I
I can say so much about my life and sum it up into one word, no make it three. I would say that my life is made up of violence, hate, and quietness, and over the time it might just add up. Sometimes when you're a little kid, you can just picture how your future can be, I tried that and unfortunately my future is kind of fucked up.
I grew up in East Atlanta, Georgia, ruthless than any other guy in my neighborhood. As a child I didn't really speak on anybody in my family, even my mom and dad. My mom was really "In to It." as in "In to It" I mean they fought every day and night, and when my mom was pregnant with my little sister Aaliyah, if there was ever a time I tried to even help my mom when they fought I got either stabbed or beaten because I tried to defend my mom.
After a few years, my dad left, and it was just my mom, Aaliyah, and I. I wouldn't say my life was any different than before because I was going through the same things. I went to school and did my thing and met my best friends Marquis a.k.a Hot Sauce, and Jeremiah a.k.a Juice man. After my dad left, my mom started breaking out and using dope in front of us, so now it was like our crib was like a dope house. Twenty four seven I was called "dope kid". Shit, it was life to me.
By the time I was ten, my mom was really out there, as I mean out there, she brang dudes to the crib so they could smoke and fuck. For me, I was really pissed about it, so during the time she was doing her thing, I was doing mine. I protected my sister by any mean necessary because I didn't want an unknown nigga on my little sister.
By the time I turned fourteen and my sister was ten, mom was completely out of it.
“Micah!” My mom yelled, her voice slurred.
"Yeah." I said.
"This is Larry here, and I'm going gout for a few hours. Clean this house when I come back." I looked at Larry with just fire in my eyes, and he just smiled and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Imma' take good care of your mom." He said, and laughed.
I'm not stupid, she was going to go smoke some weed or dope with the man and come back home with a natural high.
That day, I cleaned the house and everything and waited hours and my mom never came back. I spent days and nights by myself with my sister, waiting. By the time two weeks passed, I gave up. I knew she wasn't going to come back, so I had to become the parent for now, and now everything was going to be hard.
School was a problem because every time I got in trouble I couldn't bring my mom since her ass was gone. Marquis and Jeremiah had my back, knew what was going on at the crib, so when a nigga had the nerve to talk about my mom when Marquis, Jeremiah, and I went to go pick up my sister after school it was going to be a problem, and I never knew about the dope game until that day.
"Man the old' lady is just on pause today." Jeremiah said as all of us were walking back to my crib and then I just bumped into some dude.
"Ay yo watch where the fuck you going." He said.
"Oh, I’m watching, but you not." I said.
"Just watch nigga, you really don't want to mess with me."
"Actually I do."
"Nigga, Wassup' then?" I dropped my book bag and put up my fists and my sister tried to stop me.
"Micah, no." She said.
"Yeah Micah, go back to your mom or maybe she smoking whatever I supply." He laughed, and then I just threw my punch and started fighting him. Next thing you know, his boys was just crowded around me, and I got my ass whooped that day but it was worth it because it was the day I met Spades.
Spades took me under his wings and teached me everything to know in the drug game. Spades was brown skinned like me with dark brown eyes and I had light brown eyes, so he was like my father that I wish I had.
Around the time I was sixteen, I dropped out of school and Spades had me dealing for a little bit of cash just for me and Aaliyah to stay in the house. Marquis and Jeremiah were selling dope too but after school, me, I'm just chilling at home trying to educate my damn self, but it was damn worth it.
Now I’m twenty one, still a drug dealer, and doing my thing. Aaliyah is seventeen, and still in school since I want her to be, and I didn't want her to be in the same position as me when she gets older.
Marquis, Jeremiah and I were just chilling in the room waiting on Aaliyah to hurry her ass up for school.
"Aaliyah, get your ass out here so I can bring you to school!" I yelled.
"Dang nigga, you had to yell?" Marquis asked.
"Hell yeah, she don't be hearing shit." I answered.
She came out wearing this short ass white skirt and pink tank top, and my homeboys were just staring at her breasts. She grabbed her book bag and said "Let's go." This girl really thought I was going to let her walk out the house like that.
"What you mean let's go? Go change into something less showing." I said.
"Why I got to go change?" She argued.
"Because I don't want my baby sister looking like a hoe around school."
"Nothing's wrong with it Micah."
"Aaliyah change your damn outfit."
"Oh my gosh! Micah there is nothing wrong with it."
"Aaliyah this is the last time imma' say this, change your fucking clothes."
She dropped her book bag and started yelling, "That's what I hate about this house! Every time I wear something, you want to bitch about it!" She went inside her room then slammed the door behind her.
"Stop slamming doors! You don't pay shit in this house!" I yelled, and then she opened the door again.
"You don't pay for shit in this house too, uncle Spades pay for everything!" She said then slammed the door again.
"Man, I'm tired of her ass." I said, and sat on the couch.
"Yo, she seventeen man, she don't know that much." Marquis said.
"Yeah man, you can go anywhere in East Atlanta, and that's the image you see." Jeremiah added.
"Well my sister is not in that shit." I said, and then I heard Aaliyah door opened. She had some pants on and was wearing the same damn shirt. I just looked at her and shook my head, now wasn’t the time to argue.
"You know what? I'm not even going to even put pressure on your ass right now." I said.
She walked right passed by me and went to the car. We started driving to her school, and it was like every kid we passed by had they eyes on my sister, and it was the guys the most.
"Aaliyah, why are all these dudes staring at you?" I asked, looking out the window.
"I don't know." She said.
I was driving a custom painted Monte Carlo, and they aint had they eyes on my designs it was my damn sister. So, I pulled up the windows, so nobody can see us.
"Why da' hell you did that?" She asked hitting my chair.
"Too many people staring." I said.
"Well I'm hot; can you put it back down? Because Marquis smells very horrible." Marquis turned straight to Aaliyah.
"The fuck? Me, smell bad? Micah put your sister on a leash," Marquis said then I stopped in front of the school and so she could get her ass out my car. Aaliyah got out and I pulled down the window.
"I betta' not hear you skipping school too!" I yelled, as everybody sitting in front of the school was watching me.
"Whatever." She said, and I pulled up the window.
"You and your sister are just on that." Marquis said.
"Man it's her fucking problem." I said.
"So we out to Spades crib?"
"Yeah I guess so, you got any white on y'all?"
"Naw man." Jeremiah answered.
"Cleaner than Windex." Marquis said then we stopped right at a stop sign and I saw this sixteen maybe seventeen year old selling dope I drove right in front of him.
"Yo Spades house the other way." Marquis said.
"Hold on." I said, and then I pulled down the window and signaled him to come over. He was kind of like a younger me.
"Ay yo, what you need? I got that deep, I got that white..." He said.
"What you need to do is get in the car." I said.
"Ay yo man I'm just trying to get dome cash."
"Naw it's cool, just get in." He looked at me like I was going to kill him or something but it was nothing like that, I was trying to help his ass. He walked to the back of the car and joined Marquis.
"How old are you?" Marquis asked.
"Seventeen." He answered in a nervous tone; this dude looked like he was going through something. He was light skinned, scar under his eyes and a gun wound still red on his arm.
"Dang I remember when I was seventeen."
"Oh shit here we go again." Jeremiah said, putting his head down on the window. It was always the same story with Marquis.
"Man fuck you daw, a dealer like me was ruthless man," Marquis answered, and lifted up his shirt, "You see this shit right here? Got stabbed with a box cutter, this one? Crazy crack head got me."
"Ay show him the scar on your back." I said, laughing.
"Daw fuck you, that shit aint a scar, it's an emotional scar." He explained.
"Man, your ex girlfriend hitting you with a bat isn’t a damn emotional scar." Jeremiah said.
"Anyways, what's your name?"
"It's Jules." He said.
"Well Jules, your ass would have been killed because you were selling on a drug dealer’s property."
"Oh.”
"Yeah
but imma' make you official today."
"Why you selling that white?" Marquis asked.
"Cause I live by myself without my dad." He answered.
“What happened?"
"He died, my mother died four years ago." Now his life was worse than mines, his parents died they didn't leave like mines.
"Where you live?"
"No where." He answered.
"You are living with me now." We got to Spades house and his wife Ebony was outside.
"Hey Ebony, Spades here?" I said, as I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Um, yeah he's in the living room." She said.
"How Ace doing?" Ace was Ebony and Spades kid.
"He's fine, thanks for asking."
"Aight." We walked inside the house to the living room to Spades.
"What's good Spades?" We said and shook hands.
"Wassup, I’m going to get the dope in a few minutes, my supplier had to take a plane from Miami to here." He said.
"Dang Spades you got connections." Marquis said.
"That's what you need in this business." He said then looked over at Jules with a puzzled face.
"Who's this?" He asked.
"We found a stray on dealer property." Jeremiah said.
"Oh okay, what's your name?" He asked him.
"Jules." He answered.
"Okay, you got a nick name?"
"Tight eyez." Spades nodded his head.
"Tight eyez... Alright, how old are you?"
"Seventeen."
"Damn! Where are your peoples?"
"They died just recently."
"Okay I’m sorry... Where you live?"
"He's living with me." I interrupted.
"Yeah that's fine with me." He said and nodded his head.
"Alright I'm going to go finish this, and I will call y'all when it gets here." He added.
"Aight duce Spades." Marquis said.
"Yeah." He said and we walked out the door.
"Yo bring me to Symone crib; I want to fuck at least one." Marquis said.
"Dude why you even fuck with that trick?" Jeremiah asked.
"The same way you fuck with Desiree, for the pussy."
"You damn straight! Pussy, money, weeds!" Marquis said in excitement
Jeremiah had girlfriends, or what I call pay as you go plan, you pay when you fuck. I didn’t have no girlfriends, or what I call pay as you go plan. What people think about drug dealers is deal all day, find a bitch in their path then fuck all night. I'm not that type of dude, because I didn't want to get a trick pregnant, I wanted to fall in love and have my own relationship and be happy at that.
I dropped off Jeremiah and Marquis and went off with the rookie.

"You're only young once, but you can be immature forever."- Unknown
It was the last period of the day and I really didn't care if Micah told me to stay at school and don't skip but I was, so me and my boyfriend Pat decided to go to just chill outside the school.
Pat wasn't your typical boyfriend, he was the drug dealer boyfriend, dark skinned, chiseled chest and the most brownest brown eyes you can image; that I had and really didn't give a fuck on what anybody said about him but when it came to somebody talking about me he was already on the case.
"So you are going to Phat's party?" He asked me as I lay on his broad shoulders.
"Maybe, I know Micah don't want me to go but I'll find a way to go." I answered, then he gave me a kiss looked at me, that was the look that he wanted pussy. I really didn’t want to tell me that because I didn’t want Pat to think of me as his hoe.
"So when you going to invite me over?" I looked at him and laughed, he really didn't know my brother.
"Ok Pat, you know that Micah is my brother, the same dude who is in the drug business just like you?"
"Yeah but you know man." He gave me the puppy eyes that I couldn't resist.
"You know Micah has to keep his baby sister safe."
"And I'll do anything to keep my girl safe, when was the last time the headboard was banging?" I laughed and looked at him. I actually remembered the last time we had sex.
"Not too long ago."
"Yeah, two weeks ago, so what's up? It wasn't a problem two weeks ago."
"I know but..."
"But what? Another nigga pounding?" He got up and looked at me.
I never cheated on Pat because he was a drug dealer and I never put myself in his business. Around me, he was Pat, my boyfriend and around his boys he could be a drug dealer all her want.
"No!"
"Alright then, so why?"
"Pat it's your life, Micah don't play." Micah didn’t play, if he saw Pat in the house he would literally cut off Pat’s head and feed it to the neighborhood dogs.
"I don't play too." He lifted up his shirt and showed his uzi then put it back down.
"Just not now bae." That's when Pat's ride came and all them was looking at us.
"Come on Pat, we aint got no time man, Hawk waiting!" Someone yelled.
"Alright, I'm coming daw!" He gave me a kiss and held my hand.
"Just think about it okay?" He asked me.
"Okay." I said.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow night for Phat's party, so be ready."
"Okay."
He gave me a kiss and said "I love you."
"Love you too." We both smiled and he ran over to the car and left. The sight of seeing that Pat was a drug dealer for another person was putting me in a position that might just get me in trouble with Micah.
I heard a car horn and turned around and saw Micah. I walked over and got in the car.
"Why you had to pick me up late?" I asked.
"Cause I got shit to do."
"No you don't."
"Well I don't really care; you could walk your ass home for now on."
"Wow, I’m fine with that."
"Well if you're trying to go to get on my good side just to go to Phat's party then that's a no." I put my head down thinking how the fuck he knew? This was a school party.
"It's like I don't get to do anything! How did you know?"
"Niggas bark about shit in school and as they owner I listen."
"Ugh! Why can't I go?"
"Cause this may be a party but on the other side they dealing."
"Ok? I'm not dealing Micah."
"But the dudes out there are and the chicks out here who deal for them aint got no life, and my sister aint getting shot, also I got a rookie who's going to be there to sell, so if I hear that you was there that's your ass."
"Oh I’m still going." I mumbled.
"What?" He questioned and stopped the car.
"Nothing, keep driving."
"Well you better shut the attitude down for a little bit, I got somebody living at the crib for a while."
"Well who is he... or she?"
"You'll see when we get there."

“I can't accept failure. Everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying." - Unknown
The harsh death of my father still hurts me to the point where I had to sell dope just to stay in the apartment me and him was living in. My mom, she died from cancer, and she was my best friend because I always talked to her when it came to my problems but after she died I was with my dad. He was real cool as a notorious drug dealer, Benjamin Banner a.k.a Tank. So he rules East ATL with the city wrapped around his finger. Nobody ever knew he had a kid because since the money he was making sent me to an upper class school in downtown ATL at this school called ATL performing arts. I was there doing what I was doing best, singing, and I was good too, my dad brought me Cd's and all that but they stayed in our vacation house in Opa-Locka, Miami. When my father died from a heart attack he gave me the keys to the house in Miami all the money that I needed to survive was in my mom’s bank account down there, all I needed was somebody over eighteen. For now, I was staying with a person who worked with my dad but I didn't feel right living there so I had to fend for myself, then Micah found me.
I sat in Micah's house just flipping through channels and stuff then I started getting hungry, the feeling in my stomach said it. He said I could eat anything I wanted to. I walked in the kitchen and looked around and saw a bag of skittles, I opened and started eating tasting the sweet tastes of raspberry and grape. I got back on the couch and went back to flipping channels. I heard the door open and it was Micah and some girl I guess.
"You never let me go anywhere!" She yelled.
"Damn Liyah, I told you keep the attitude down." "Micah said.
"I don't car-" She looked at me, and had a little smirk on her face.
"Jules this is my sister Aaliyah, and Aaliyah this is our visitor Jules."
"Hi." she said.
"Wassup?" I asked, and then she looked at the bag of skittles and snatched it from my hand.
"Rule number one don't touch my shit, two don't use my shit." Aaliyah was a little feisty, fine, brown skinned, brown eyes, long hair dime, but she was straight up stank attitude. She rolled her eyes and walked in her room.
"Damn, that's your sister?" I asked.
"Hell yeah, she something else." Micah said shaking his head in disgust.
"Damn, what's up with her?"
"Man fuck her, she just mad because she not going to a party that you going to."
"What?" I looked at him with a puzzled face, I just got settled.
"Yeah, since you’re young, you could make deals."
"Okay daw, but I got to tell you something."
"Aight partna, what it is?"
"You know Tank right?"
"Yeah the best drug dealer in East ATL, just passed away, heard he left a wife and a kid behind too."
"How you know?"
"I got my source, why?"
"Tanks my dad."
"Are you serious?" I took the house keys and dangled it in his face.
"Why he gave me the keys to his crib in Miami?"
"Oh shit!"
"Just don't tell anybody except for Spades, your two boys and your sister, aight?"
"Cool, So you in school?"
"I really don't know, I used to go to ATL Performing arts but by now I may not."
"Well anyone under eighteen goes to school and lucky for you my ugly ass sister goes to East Atlanta Performing arts, so you going there, aight?"
"Cool."
"Aight, so the party is tomorrow, and your room is the one on the right of my sisters, and listen if you my sister at that party bring her ass right back here, that's an order aight?" I looked me straight in the eyes to show that he was dead serious; Micah cared a lot about his sister.
"Aight." I nodded my head.
Now I had to adapt to this house and try to keep my hands of Aaliyah

"Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fight?" - Tupac Shakur
"Yeah Spades, I got you... Yeah I'll see you in a few hours okay? Bye." I hung up the phone and continued my drive to the Port of Miami.
Niaja Sullivan, me being the cleanest person in the Dominican clientele, I was good. I had so many things going on in my life, because I graduated high school and went to the University of Florida and majored in African American studies, women studies, urban studies, and going to start sports medicine just to be ahead of some these men that swear they knew about anything and everything. I grew up in Miami, Florida, the cocaine capital for all drug dealers. Me being the youngest of five kids, two brothers, and two sisters, I was very out there, and I was half Dominican and half virgin islander. So since my father was Dominican, he was into the drug business and ran the biggest drug chains in Atlanta, L.A, and Brooklyn. He was called Frankie a.k.a my daddy and everybody came to him when it came to getting some pounds of dope, so every time he made a sale he made it clean by making appointments. He always said "Mami, if you want to make cash, you got to make appointments at the right times." with Hispanic accent. I stuck to that, so by the time I turned twenty my father passed the torch to me and the Dominican Clientele was officially created. My dad giving me the business instead of my older brothers and sisters was surprising because I was the baby but I did know more and learned more. The Dominican Clientele had very good connection since it was run by me mainly. I knew people in the Dominican Republic, so shipment was really easy and I had clients that knew my father so I was good. The clientele was Maurice, Antoine, Jay-B, Melanie, Mack and Me; the five people you wanted to go to if you needed some fresh shipment. Also the people I sold to was like family to me especially Spades, since he was my best friends, Ebony husband, so that was real cool for me a lot.
I got to the Port of Miami and walked on the deck to Mack, he was the guy I went to, to get the dope and he was my god brother. When it came to family, I always had their back for business until they die.
"Wassup Niaja?" He asked, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey Mack, so how much you got?" I asked.
"Enough to last at least two months, but to keep you on lock, they going to have security put out on here." He put the boxes of cocaine on the barrow, and I shook my head, this shit wasn’t enough.
"Shit! Are you serious?"
"Yup, so you are going to have to take a plane there for a few months."
"Alright that's fine with me." We walked to my car and he put it in my trunk, and I leaned on the car and took out a black, and lit it.
"So you are going to be good when this stuff run out?"
"No, are my customers going to be good?" I blew out a cloud of smoke and passed it to Mack.
"They going to be fine, you know Tyrone still flying planes, so it's going to be cool aight?" I rolled my eyes and nodded my head in agreement. I was going to be fucked up if my ass didn't bring constant supply to my customers, “So where you out to today?" He blew a cloud of smoke into the air.
"East Atlanta to Spades."
"Damn it's like everyday this nigga need some dope."
"I know that's why I’m staying there for a few with Ebony and Ace"
"Alright, that's fine with me I'll see you later though, tell you old' boy I said hola."
"Aight bye Mack."
"Peace Niaja." I got in my car and headed to the airport and went over to my private jet and headed to East Atlanta studying for my next exam in my African American studies class and listened to my iPod until I got there the next day.
*******************
I was getting in my rental car heading to Spades crib fixing my hair into a bun while I was driving. That's what I hated about being a half black and Hispanic person, I was medium light brown skinned, hazel eyes, and long hair like a Hispanic person and the booty like a black girl. I was weird but sometimes I liked it, I could speak another language while I was fucking.
I got in front of Spades house and looked out the window and saw Ebony and Ace playing. I got out the car, Ebony saw me and started laughing and yelling then ran over to me and gave me a tight hug that lasted a few minutes.
"Wassup girl? I'm here!" I said smiling.
"Oh my gosh girl, when you get here?" She asked.
"Like this morning, I got straight out the airport to your house."
"That's why your hair is looking a hot mess?" She joked; playing with my hair like it was a Barbie doll.
"Ya think?" We both laughed and we both sat down and she started doing my hair.
"So how's Miami?"
"The same as always, hot as hell."
"Girl, it's like we're cooking out here today." She chuckled.
"Girl I see that, so where Spades, so he can get his shit outa' ma trunk."
"Mhmm he inside handling his boys and stuff like always."
"Don't be mad, at least you got him."
"I'm happy I got him, but where's your dude? Um what's his name? Travis!" I went out with this guy named Travis, real cute too, dark skinned and muscular. I met him a few months ago on a drop off at Alabama and he was real cool until I think my personality wasn't the only thing he was scratching for. That’s was the main reason I couldn’t handle a drug dealer because they attitude was on a whole different level than mines which made it worse for me as a woman.
"Dropped him."
"Why?"
"One, He wanted my dope and two, I'm still kind of recovering from Ty." Ebony rolled her eyes.
"Oh I see, so you’re on the single bus?"
"I guess so."
"Well I mean mami you mad rich in this industry and as always a nigga will do anything to stay with you." I nodded my head slightly.
"That's why I keep my job under wraps, so I’m a single, twenty two year old who's still in college majoring in African American studies."
"Damn even that makes a nigga do anything to stay with you."
"Well what can this beautiful girl say?" We both laughed then I saw Spades come out the house.
"Hey Niaja." He said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Wassup spades." I said and gave him a hug.
"Good, good, can you come inside, give one of my boys the keys and they'll get the dope from the trunk."
"We'll talk later girl." Ebony said and I gave her another hug.
"Don't scratch my damn car alright?" I said to one of the boys, and handed him my keys and went inside the house.
"So what's up?" I asked.
"You heard about Tank?" He asked.
"Yeah, my dad took it hard."
"Well his son is living with one of my dealers now."
"What? I thought Tank left the crib for his son?"
"Naw lil momma, Tank got a crib down in some place in Miami called Opa-Locka, you know where that is?"
"Yeah, not to far where I be at. I got a few workers working there for me, why?"
"Okay, I just wanted to let you know where he at. He's in good hands; this dealer has him going to school and all."
"Alright Spades, so what?"
"I think I got to retire, you know leave the drug game." We both sat down on the couch and I looked at him. Was he really serious about this? Now Spades was I think the youngest notorious drug dealer long time ago before someone took his place. He was thirty three years old and Ebony was around twenty-five, which made them the youngest couple. So obviously he has been running the game from scratch since he was around nineteen maybe twenty from my sources.
"I mean if you feel that's what you need..."
"I know Ebony really starting to hate all the boys coming to the house around my son thinking it's a bad influence."
"Aight Spades, just do what you feel is best for you and your family."
"Thanks."
"No problem."

"Money talks - everything else walks" - African American Proverb
I walked inside the hair store ready to get my hair twisted and stuff so I can be all fresh when a nigga was dealing. So I walked into my home girl Ce-ce's salon and sat right in a chair.
"Boy you better be hell of special just walking in my store sitting in a chair when I got other customers." Ce-ce said, and I looked at her and chuckled.
"Come on Ce-ce, you known a nigga for how long now you want to front?" I asked.
"Just because you the only man that walks in my store doesn't mean you get treated differently." She put her hands on her hips with her curling iron waving in one hand.
"Ce-ce please?" I begged looking at her with puppy eyes, and she rolled her eyes and continued doing another girls hair.
"No, I got ladies hair to get done today." I rolled my eyes and reach in my pocket and took out a stack of money, maybe two hundred dollars, she widened her eyes even every other girl in the salon did.
"Can you do my hair now? Take all the money, it's going to last you around a month, keep the change too." She grabbed the money and put it in her pocket then got to do my twists listening to all that bullshit these girls was talking about.
"Why do men always want to have attitudes when you really don’t want to go out you just want to chill?" Some girl said.
"Cause nigga want to see their lady on the side." Another said. All this bullshit I was hearing was so damn messed up because a woman always thought that a man was cheating, it really created a friction between men and women in this world. Nobody knew how to damn trust each other anymore.
"Actually the only reason why we want to go out and y'all say no and we catch a attitude is because y'all women always damn whining and shit for us to go out at least once and the day we do you want to say no, that's when we catch a attitude, problem solved." I interrupted. Then the whole store got quiet and both the girls rolled they eyes and talked about something else. There is always a man’s perspective to anything.
That's what I hated about some women is that they didn't have the damn thought to even think that their man is not cheating. Yeah some of us had a hard past but some of us know when we get with a girl we know damn well better to keep it in a straight line. There was a damn science when it came to relationships because there were different type of males and different types of females. Now, I’m not saying that all women are the same but at a certain time yall start acting the same in a relationship especially when a man is not around too much. To tell the truth, yes, some men are cheating on yall, but don’t make it like every man is cheating because some of us are actually working to get money in your pockets and everything, paying your bills and we don’t even live with yall.
Ce-ce finished my hair, and I gave her a hug and walked out the store. Then, I took out my cell phone and called up my girl Symone, and she was my girlfriend, and not a pay as you go girl, no none of that, I actually loved her ass to death. She was light skinned, thick, brown eyes, and a booty that will attract any nigga her way. (That's how she got me!)
"Hello?" She answered after the fourth ring.
"Wassup ma?" I asked.
"Nothing, I'm just mad tired today, and I been working all night."
"Well can you have at least one hour with me?"
"For what." My eyes widened, god damn she could at least said it in a nicer way, I thought.
"You my dime, my girl, can I at least come see you once?"
"Tomorrow yea." I thought to myself why Symone was acting like that.
"All you had to say was no, and it's like you're hiding something from me."
"I'm not, I'm just tired."
"Okay, so you want me to get you anything?"
"I'm fine baby, thank you."
"Okay, I’ll hit you up whenever." I hung up the phone and started up my car and started driving to my crib. When I was driving I saw all the dealer girls doing their thing, like using their body just too damn deal. For me, I thought no damn woman lady should be dealing just to pay some bills.
I was about to turn the corner until I saw this girl get thrown out a silver Mitsubishi Galant, I quickly put my car in park and got out the car and walked to her. She got up and started crying and all her makeup was getting messed up.
"Mami what happened?" She looked at me and cried some, "I'm not going to hurt you okay?" I added.
"A man put his hand on me and tried to rape me." She sobbed.
"You know this dude?" I asked.
"No, I was just walking from the salon and he tried to talk to me and I just ignored him then he grabbed me, put me in his car and tried to rape me." She started crying again and I grabbed her hand and bring her to my car.
"Get in, I’m bringing you home." She got in the car and then I got in and I started driving. She told me the address and I drove to her house.
"So what's your name?" I asked.
"Solange." She said cleaning her face and I just saw these bright cocoa brown eyes that matched her brown skin.
"Solange, my name is Marquis." I said.
"Nice name."
"Thanks, so I never have seen you here in East Atlanta."
"I just moved down here, from Bankhead."
"Da head? Aight that's cool."
'How did you find me?"
"Well I was tuning 17th walk and then I saw the car and you coming out of it."
"Well thanks it's very nice of you to do that."
"That's cool, niggas down here don't play this, I was born and raised down in the east, so when a nigga hard and ready they going to find a girl right on a corner."
"It's like you know this real good."
"If you thinking like that, it's not true. My peoples as in my sister and father teached me damn well better than to disrespect the women that carry us for nine months and raise us for eighteen maybe nineteen years."
"Oh ok, I thought." I got to her house and she was living real well. She was sleeping in the private condos with the gates and all that.
She took out a piece of paper and wrote down her number.
"Call me." She said handing me the paper.
"Aight I'll get you though." I said and took the paper.
She walked in the house with her hips swaying, booty in motion and all. In my mind it was like damn I needed that girl in my life but as of now all I needed was one girl.

"Once you go black, you never go back."- African American Proverb
Every thrust given to her was so damn good I was going to cum inside her. She was moaning holding my back grabbing tighter on every thrust I put in her. I took my dick out of her and dropped her on the bed and got on top of her kissing her on her plump lips and she grabbed my dick and sticked it in here and started grinding against me, and her lips still connected to mines. She wrapped her legs around me and I started going deeper and deeper, then she gave out a gasp and dug her nails in my back. I knew it hit the spot and took my dick out and lay right beside her.
"Damn." I said breathing heavily, and she put her head on my chest.
"I know that was good." She said.
"Damn Symone you can fuck, No wonder Marquis be talking so much." I said and we both laughed.
"Oh I know I can fuck real well, very well."
Yes, I was fucking around with Marquis Girl and no offense but Symone was hella' sexy and she has mad sex game. I knew Marquis was my best friend and all but Symone wasn't so I was going to fuck her all I want. Shit, I didn't really have that much to say on that nigga except for he had to keep his sex game right and if he didn't somebody else was going to fulfill Symone dream and that was me!
"So when we going to get to do this again?" I asked playing with her hair.
"When Marquis is busy." She said giving me a kiss and she got up and gave me a kiss.
"But I am going to call you later cause you know how Marquis like to blow up people phone."
"Yeah." She put on her clothes and gave me another kiss licking my lips.
This wasn't the last you would hear of me because I had a lot planned for me and Symone.

"I don't believe in luck. I believe everything happens for a reason." - Nelly
I got ready for this party and Micah was giving me all these rules on what to do at the party.
"Rule number one, don't sit there hollering at da' tricks because they just damn distracting. Two, all these drug dealers don't have no person that their working for so you might not get in a fight. Last and this is not even a rule but if you see my sister bring her home because I have a feeling she going to be there like a dumb ass." He explained and handed the packets of cocaine and weed to me and I put it in my pocket.
I walked out the house and walked about twelve blocks to this party and saw a bunch of people outside chilling talking and shit, I just stood there with my hands in my pockets and people just came to me out the blue.
"You got that white?" This boy asked.
"Yeah, yeah." I answered.
"Let me get three bags of that white and two dollars (dollars was called weed)" I handed him the weed and got the money and continued to just stand there, then more people came and I kind of made a friend too, his name was Raymond.
"So how you get to this party?" Raymond asked.
"Micah couldn't go, so he had me go." I answered.
"You mean Micah, the drug dealer since a damn kid?"
"Yeah."
"Damn that's good, you making cash, and you know her sister?"
"Who? Aaliyah? Naw homeboy I don't mess with her."
"Watchu' mean, you don't mess with her?"
"She not my type or I’m not her type."
"Man, no worries, she not anybody type since she got Pat."
"That's her nigga huh?"
"Yup, known drug dealer in the school, work for this dude name Hawk."
I didn't even know Aaliyah was fucking around with a drug dealer, and I had a feeling Micah aint know. That's why Aaliyah was maybe acting like any damn girl because her dude was dealing and he could get anything she wanted.
"Speaking of them, there they go right there." He pointed over and I saw this light skinned dude, medium long dreads and I saw Aaliyah all hugged up to him. In my mind I was wondering why she was here and cause Micah told me to come bring her ass home.
I started walking over to the car and she was standing then Raymond stopped me.
"Ay yo man what you doing?" He asked grabbing my arm.
"She not suppose to be here." I answered.
"Man just let her because if you step anywhere he beat, you going to get stomped."
"I don't give a fuck." I started walking closer over to them and they was just laughing and shit then once I got in front of them he looked at me then eased me and I just eased him back.
"What you doing here?" I asked Aaliyah and she just looked at her guy.
"Ay yo, you got pressure?" He said and I just looked at him.
"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried at her." I said and I grabbed her hand and we walked a few feet away.
"Why you here?" I questioned and she jerked her hand away from me.
"Cause I want to be here, can you please leave me alone?" She said.
"You can go home though; this is not even a party."
"You only been in my house for two days, you don't run me."
"Yeah but your brother said-"
"My brother said what? Come and get my ass? Please my brother doesn’t own me, I’m seventeen, I’m about to leave in at least a year."
"Ay man, back the fuck away from my girl!" Pat yelled trying to get in my face.
"Daw, I don't want to thump or anything, she just got to go home." I said calmly.
"And who is you? Her dad?"
"Naw but from the looks of things, aint he looking for you too?"
"What you said?"
Aaliyah grabbed my hand and said "Don't do that."
"I'm not going to trip but you heard what I said, I’m not going to repeat anything."
Pat threw up his fists and took a strike across my face, then he kind of busted my lip and I felt the blood. I laughed a little then punched him real quick and both of us was on the ground just fighting, I started punching him all around, then some of his boys came and held me down and Pat kicked me in the ribs and punched in the face so much my left eyes got swollen. I just heard Aaliyah yelling.
"Pat stop! Let him go!" She yelled, "For real Pat, stop! Please!" She yelled again then they let me go, and I started coughing and my nose was bleeding.
"So, I advise you to stop damn claiming you even something in this school, hold up, I never even seen you." He said and Aaliyah helped me up.
"Pat I’m going home." She said.
"Why? Don't tell me you feel sorry for this punk ass nigga?"
"I don't, I just got to get home okay?"
"Yeah." She gave him a kiss and grabbed my arm and we left the party. I knew she was mad at me because she didn't say anything about it.
"Aaliyah..." I said and stopped in front of her.
"What!? Are you trying to run my life boy?" She yelled.
"N-No."
"Okay then, why you did that?"
"You not suppo-"
"Oh my gosh, whatever my brother tells you, you don't have to do."
"You really think dude want you?" I wiped the blood of my face.
"What you said?" she asked putting her hand on her waist.
"I aint trying to be fucked up but you're the prettiest girl, I know and a dude like him is going to need a gi-" she put her finger in my face.
"Please don't finish, you just need to leave because I’m staring into a damn Micah. I could have just left you there but I know better." She continued walking and once we got to the house, we both got in and Micah was sitting right there and Aaliyah stood there speechless.
"Aaliyah what I tell you." He said.
Then Aaliyah whispered in my ear, "Don't tell him about Pat."
"Liyah you aint hear me?" He asked.
"Don't go to the party." She answered.
"Then why the fuck I'm hearing you was there hugging up with some dude? Huh?" She looked at him and rolled her eyes.
"Aaliyah, go in your room before I beat the fuck out of you alright?" She just walked in her room, then he turned to me, and I just handed him the money.
"What the fuck happened man?" He asked me looking at the swollen eye and bloody nose.
"I got in a brawl at the party that's all." I said.
"God damn they handled your ass, shit! It was like six of them niggas huh?" He chuckled.
"Yeah."
"Alright, I’m going to sleep alright?"
"Yeah." Micah left and I just walked over to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and saw my eyes which were swollen as fuck, I saw the purple mark under my eye and my nose was still kind of bleeding. I took my shirt and started washing all the blood out and I got in the shower then took a nice hot shower trying to ease the pain from all the kicks I done got. I got out then looked in the mirror again and my nose was still damn bleeding, and I thought to myself why I was fighting for a girl like Aaliyah. No lie she was cute, beautiful but how she acted in front of me, no nigga wanted that.
I changed my clothes and got out to the living room and watched a little TV and try to forget what happened a few hours ago. Then Aaliyah came out and was digging in the fridge, but I just ignored her.
"Here" She said coming over and giving me a towel. She took my hand in hers and put the towel on nose and tilted my head back. She left again and came back with a bottle of alcohol and cotton balls.
"What you doing?" I said putting my head back down and she poured a little alcohol on the cotton ball.
"Stop the swelling, use alcohol." She started putting it around my eye and the shit was just burning like hell everywhere, and then she just took and packs of ice and put it on my eye, then tilted my head back and grabbed m hand and put it on my nose.
"Just stay like this and your good." She said.
"Why you did this anyway?" I said.
"I maybe a mean girl but you didn't tell my brother about Pat."
"Oh well thanks, typical black female." She smiled and her eyes just sparkled.
"You’re welcome... Jules."
"Yeah." I smiled and she smiled back.
Maybe there was a soft side to this chick.

"Family must look out for family."- African American Proverb
I walked out my room into the living room, and went in the fridge and grabbed my can of red bull and sat on the couch and waited for Marquis and Jeremiah. I watched TV and looked at the news trying to see what was going on; the Jules came and sat right by me. This nigga got messed up at this party because his eye looked like a caterpillar that was half squished. White puss was around his eye with a little blood, it kind of creeped me out.
"Wassup man?" I asked.
"Wassup." He answered.
"I see your eye not messed up."
"Yeah, your sister helped it." I looked at him in disbelief. My sister? The bitch couldn’t even get me a piece of ice in the damn fridge and she helps this dude? Hmm something was fishy about this.
"My sister? You are lying.”
"I'm serious; this shot wouldn't be like this."
"Alcohol and ice, she don't do that to everybody."
"She stopped the bleeding on my nose too."
"Oh shit! Jules I give you the opportunity to be with my sis." I usually don’t even do that to every guy that try to talk to my sister because my ass is overprotective more than anything.
"Naw man, she doesn’t like me."
"Wait till you go to school tomorrow let's see."
Marquis and Jeremiah just came through the door and walked straight to the fridge cleaning out my red bulls, can after damn can.
"Yo, Yo! That's six dollars of my drink, pay up." I yelled, getting up and rushing towards him.
"Man you know we got you." Marquis said, opening the can and taking a sip.
"No you don't, give me my damn money for real, that's the only stuff I drunk." I never drink alcohol a day in my life because it had a nasty taste and people’s breath was straight up hot and nasty. Also it was another way for rival drug dealers to catch a dude slipping and totally wasn’t me at all. I stuck to my damn red bull to keep me good at all times.
"All right daw here." He handed me my money and I shoved it in my pocket.
"Spades want us at the crib now, because Niaja there." I shook my head, there was so much about that girl.
"Damn, Niaja, I’ll fuck her anytime." Jeremiah said.
"She doesn’t need a nigga like you because her pay might just put your ass on the damn rocks." Marquis said.
I thought Niaja was a sexy ass girl. Long soft hair, big booty, cocoa brown eyes and brown skin to match. But where Niaja stood in the drug business was damn high, I’m talking about the damn clientele. She could stop all the dope from even coming to East Atlanta.
"You think Niaja would go for a dude like me? Micah?" Jeremiah asked me.
"The way both y'all asses drink all my red bull in my house, no." I answered and grabbed my keys. Then Aaliyah came out her room music damn near blasting and everything she was wearing some short ass shorts and a half tee- shirt. Usually I was so lost when it came to Aaliyah, she gave me too much of a massive headache.
"Where are you going" I asked her.
"She is going to Secrets, the strip club down on Banner Avenue." Marquis laughed, and I looked at him and he stopped laughing.
I turned back to Aaliyah, "Aaliyah, you aint her me daw?" I asked again.
"I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying home." She said grabbing a bottle of water.
"Alright, I’m leaving. I'm going to Spades crib for a while I’m going to be back in an hour or two." I said.
"Yeah whatever."
"Jules you want to ride?"
"Naw, I’m cool, rolling with this black eye aint Me." he said.
"Aight, I’ll see you later, watch my sister."
"I swear me and him was the same damn age." Aaliyah interrupted.
"Yeah, but your ass act like you damn four." I said.
"Whatever."
We all got out the house and into the car and started driving to Spades house. My nerves was nearly on high because Aaliyah pissed me off and on top of that I was going to see Niaja again which was more of a hassle than it is.
"Yo yesterday, I done met this fine girl named Solange." Marquis said excitedly.
"Her name sound sexy, you smashed?" Jeremiah asked.
"Naw, I got Symone, I aint going to fuck with no other girl anytime soon."
"Naw but yesterday, I smashed this girl and man let me tell you, she can fuck, bet she aint going to fuck her dude in a few weeks." Jeremiah laughed and I shook my heads in disgust, one day something was going to hit him hard.
"It's like every day is the same shit with yall, it's always I smashed this hoe and handled this hoe. Daw shut up!" I snapped.
"Just because you don't get any play, don't hate." Jeremiah said.
I was in no concern with them two cause once I got to Spades crib, I saw her.

"Now everybody sampling." - Missy Elliot
Me and Ebony was sitting in the porch talking as always until Spades little drug dealers came. Marquis, Jeremiah, and Micah. Marquis and Jeremiah was some loud ass dudes that I would net ever get with, ever in my life. But Micah he was real different and cute. He had this appearance that said business but he could have fun at times. I mean ever since Travis ass, I really even trying to fall in love with a drug dealer for real.
"You need to go on some dates." Ebony interrupted, and I look at her puzzled.
"Girl I'm good, I’m just here for business and hanging out with my best friend that's all." I said.
"Please I bet you're going out tonight and find a guy then Bam! Relationship right there." She joked.
"Ok, please don't compare the way you met Spades to me."I laughed.
She laughed and said "I'm just playing."
"Wassup Eb, Niaja." Micah said coming to us.
"Hey." We both said, and I just stared at him, this brother was finnne!
"Where Spades at?"
"He is handling some business." Ebony said and I looked at her.
"Excuse me but I’m the one who really gives y'all the dope." I said.
"Oh for real, you sure cause' I haven't seen you for the past few months." Micah argued.
"Cause' I been trying to get it and I live in Miami."
"Well you don't own it."
"Actually I do, you must have forgotten that I do make or break some of these drug dealers like you." I snapped the Micah laughed and tuned back to Marquis.
"Can you guys please stop?" Marquis asked getting in between of us.
"Oh I will." I said then rolled my eyes.
"Yeah." Micah said then Spades came out and sat right by Ebony.
"Here y'all go." He said and handed them the dope.
My phone rang and Jay-B was calling me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Niaja they got Mack." He said, I looked at phone like this dude was playing a prank on me.
"Watchu' mean they got Mack?" I questioned.
"Some so called officer arrested him for so called drug trafficking, I know every officer here, so something going on."
"I don't know but I have to go to Dominican Republic in like two days, what about my dad?"
"He tripping yo, talking about I teached my daughter way better and I got to go to Dominican Republic today." Oh now I was in trouble because my dad talked about my where about.
